DRIVING
The cruise control cannot, in any
circumstances, replace the need
to respect speed limits, nor can
it replace the need for vigilance
and responsibility on the part of
the driver.
CRUISE CONTROL
System which automatically maintains
the speed of the vehicle at the value
programmed by the driver, without any
action on the accelerator pedal.
The cruise control is switched on
manually: it requires a minimum vehicle
s p e e d o f 2 5 m p h ( 4 0 k m / h ) , a s w e l l a s
the engagement of:
- f o u r t h g e a r o n a m a n u a l g e a r b o x ,
- s e c o n d g e a r o n a n a u t o m a t i c g e a r b o x , in sequential mode,
- position D o n a n a u t o m a t i c g e a r b o x .
The cruise control is switched off manu-
ally or by pressing the brake or clutch
pedal or on triggering of the ESP sys-
tem for safety reasons.
I t i s p o s s i b l e t o e x c e e d t h e p r o g r a m m e d
speed temporarily by pressing the ac-
celerator pedal.
To return to the programmed speed,
simply release the accelerator pedal.
Switching off the ignition cancels any
programmed speed value. The controls of this system are grouped
together on stalk

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This repair kit is available from
CITROËN dealers.
It is designed to repair holes of a
maximum diameter of 6 mm, only
where the puncture is located on
the tyre tread or shoulder. Avoid
removing any foreign bodies
which have penetrated the tyre.
TEMPORARY PUNCTURE
REPAIR KIT
Complete system consisting of a compres-
sor and an incorporated sealant cartridge
which permits temporary repair of the
tyre so that you can drive to the nearest
garage.
The kit is mounted in the boot under the
fl o o r . Using the kit
This procedure, comprising several
steps, must be carried out in full.
Switch off the ignition.
Turn the selector A to the "SEALANT"
position.
Check that the switch B is in posi-
tion "0" .
Connect the white pipe C to the
valve of the tyre to be repaired.
Connect the compressor's electric
plug to the vehicle's 12 V socket.
A f fi x t h e s p e e d l i m i t a t i o n s t i c k e r t o
the vehicle's steering wheel to re-
mind you that a wheel is in temporary
use.
Start the vehicle and leave the engine
running.

Failure to observe this special
condition could result in damage
to certain braking components
and the absence of braking as-
sistance the next time the engine
is started. When towing with all four wheels
on the ground, always use a
towing bar.
When towing with only two wheels
on the ground, always use profes-
sional lifting equipment.
When towing with the engine off,
there is no longer any assistance
for braking or steering.
TOWING THE VEHICLE
Procedure for having your vehicle towed
or for towing another vehicle using a re-
movable towing eye.
Access to the tools
The towing eye is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
T o g a i n a c c e s s t o i t :
open the boot,
r a i s e t h e fl o o r ,
remove the polystyrene storage box,
remove the towing eye from the
holder. Towing your vehicle
On the front bumper, unclip the cover
by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
Switch on the hazard warning lamps
on the towed vehicle.
Place the gear lever in neutral (posi-
tion N f o r a n a u t o m a t i c g e a r b o x ) . Towing another vehicle
On the rear bumper, unclip the cover
by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
Switch on the hazard warning lamps
on the towed vehicle.
