Adjusting the steering wheel
The steering wheel can be adjusted for
height and reach.
Unlock the steering wheel by pulling le-
ver A towards you.
Adjust the position of the steering
wheel then lock it pushing the lever fully
back.
67 It automatically and progressively
changes between day use and night
use.
This operates with the ignition switched on.
From the driver’s seat, select the rear
view mirror by moving control 1 to the
left or right, then adjust the rear view
m i r r o r a s r e q u i r e d i n f o u r d i r e c t i o n s u s -
ing control 2 .
Demisting-defrosting of the rear view
mirrors is linked to that of the rear
screen.

This additional mirror

monitor the rear passengers. It can be
tilted to eliminate dazzle.
Rear view mirrors foldback
When the vehicle is parked, the rear
view mirrors can be folded back either
manually or automatically.

T h e m i r r o r i s fi t t e d w i t h a n i g h t - t i m e
anti-dazzle device.
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror so that the
glass is directed correctly in the
"day" position.
Day/night position
Pull the lever to change to the
"night" anti-dazzle position.
Push the lever to change to the
normal "day" position.
In order to prevent dazzle, the inte-
rior mirror glass darkens automati-
cally in relation to the intensity of the
light from the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam
of following vehicles, sun...) de-
creases, so guaranteeing optimum
visibility.
In order to guarantee optimum visi-
bility during your manoeuvres, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.
STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and reach of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.
Adjustment
First, adjust the driver's seat to
the most suitable position.
When stationary , pull the control
to unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and reach.
Push the control to lock the
steering wheel.
A f t e r l o c k i n g , i f y o u p r e s s fi r m l y o n
the steering wheel, a slight click may
be heard.
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
"blind spot". Automatic day/night model
System which automatically and
progressively changes between the
day and night uses.
As a safety precaution, it is impera-
tive that these operations are carried
out while the vehicle is stationary.

DIRECTION INDICATORS
Lower the lighting stalk fully
when moving to the left.
Raise the lighting stalk fully when
moving to the right.
HAZARD WARNING LAMPS
A visual warning by means of the di-
rection indicators to alert other road
users to a vehicle breakdown, towing
or accident.
Automatic lighting of hazard
warning lamps
When braking in an emergency,
depending on the deceleration, the
hazard warning lamps come on.
They will switch off automatically the
fi r s t t i m e y o u a c c e l e r a t e .
If they do not, press button A to
switch the direction indicators off. HORN
Selection of the left or right direction
indicators to signal a change of di-
rection of the vehicle.
Press the button A , the direction
i n d i c a t o r s fl a s h .
They can operate with the ignition off.

switch on the hazard warning lamps
if you are the last in the queue. Audible warning system to alert other
road users to an imminent danger.
Press at the lower part of the

Use the horn moderately and only
in the following circumstances:
- immediate danger,
- approaching a location lacking visibility.

the tyre pressure during driving and
trigger a warning in the event of
malfunction (speed above 12 mph
(20 km/h).
Flat tyre T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is an aid to driving which
does not replace the vigilance or
responsibility of the driver. Puncture
The service warning lamp
comes on in the instru-
ment panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and
a message on the multi-
function screen locating
the wheel concerned.
Check the tyre pressures as soon as
possible. This check must be carried
out when the tyres are cold. The
STOP warning lamp
comes on in the instrument
panel, accompanied by an
audible signal and a mes-
sage on the multifunction
screen locating the wheel
concerned.
Stop immediately, avoiding any sudden
movement of the steering wheel and
the brakes.
Change the damaged wheel (punctured
o r v e r y d e fl a t e d t y r e ) , a n d h a v e t h e t y r e
pressure checked as soon as possible.
Sensor(s) not detected or faulty
The service warning
lamp comes on in the
instrument panel, ac-
companied by an audible
signal and a message on
the multifunction screen
locating the wheel or wheels which
are not detected or indicating a fault
in the system.
Have the faulty sensor(s) checked
by a CITROËN dealer. All repairs and changing of tyres
o n a w h e e l fi t t e d w i t h t h i s s y s t e m
must be carried out by a CITROËN
dealer.
If, when changing a tyre, you in-
stall a wheel which is not detected
b y y o u r v e h i c l e ( e x a m p l e : fi t t i n g
of snow tyres), you must have the
system reinitialised by a CITROËN
dealer.
This system does not eliminate
the need to have the tyre pres-
sure checked regularly (refer to the
" T e c h n i c a l d a t a - § I d e n t i fi c a t i o n
markings" section) to ensure that
the optimum dynamic perform-
ance of the vehicle is maintained
and prevent premature wear of the
tyres, particularly in arduous driv-
ing conditions (heavy load, high
speed).
The tyre pressures must be
checked cold, at least once a
month. Remember to check the
pressure of the spare wheel.

interference due to radio-electric
emissions on a frequency close to
that used by the system.
This message is also displayed
when one of the wheels is away
from the vehicle (being repaired) or
when one or more wheels without a
s e n s o r a r e fi t t e d .

Paddle controls
behind the steering
wheel
The paddles behind the steering
wheel give you access to the six for-
ward gears. Changing gear
Pull the " + " paddle to change up
a gear.
Pull the " - " paddle to change
down a gear. The paddles do not permit you to se-
lect neutral or reverse gear, or to exit
reverse gear.
- If the vehicle stops or reduces
speed (for example when ap-
proaching a stop sign), the gear-
box changes down automatically,
t o fi r s t g e a r i f n e e d e d .
- In manual mode, it is not neces-sary to release the accelerator
completely during gear changes.
- A request to change gear is ac- cepted only if the engine speed
permits it.
- For safety reasons, depending on the engine speed, a change down
may be performed automatically.
In situations of high engine
speeds (heavy acceleration),
a change up will not occur
unless the driver operates
the paddle.
