Brak e fluid  absor bs  water 
and must  be  changed 
every  two  years.  Heavy  use of the brakes can cause  vapor lock if the brake  fluid  is  too  old. 
Vapor  lock  redu ces braking  power, increases 
stopping distances and ca n even  cause  total 
brake  failure. 
New tires and new bra ke  pads  do no t pro
