To turn off: Push and hold the “VSC
OFF” switch for 3 seconds when the
vehicle is not moving.
The slip indicator light and “VSC OFF”
indicator light will come on.
When the ignition key is turned to “ON”
position, the traction control system and
vehicle stability control system always turn
on.
To turn on: Push “VSC OFF” switch
once again.
The slip indicator light and “VSC OFF”
indicator light will go off.
CAUTION
When traction control and vehicle sta-
bility control system are off, be espe-
cially careful and drive at a speed
appropriate to the road conditions. As
these are systems to ensure vehicle
stability and driving force, do not
turn off traction control and vehicle
stability control system unless neces-
sary.
In the following cases, contact your Scion
dealer:
The slip indicator light and “VSC OFF”
indicator light do not come on when the
ignition key is turned to “ON” position.
The slip indicator light or “VSC OFF”
indicator light remains on after the igni-
tion key is turned to “ON” position
.
The slip indicator light or “VSC OFF”
indicator light come on in the normal
driving mode while driving.The tire pressure warning system warns
you that the tire inflation pressure is
low.
The tire pressure warning system is not
a substitute for checking normal tire infla-
tion pressure. Check the tire inflation
pressure with a tire pressure gauge regu-
larly.
CAUTION
The warning system may not activate
immediately if blowout or sudden air
loss should occur.
