SEAT maintenance programme
8SEAT maintenance programmeGeneral informationThis maintenance programme will inform you of the w ork that should be
carried out regularly on your vehicle in order to ensure th e safety, reliability
and durability required.
Using the “vehicle id entification” data or the data in this document, will
ensure the correct spare parts for your vehicle are sp ecified in case of repairs,
for many years after the initial purchase.
We recommend that you keep this maintenance progr amme with the vehicle
documents. The record of inspections carried out is on e of the essential
requirements for exercising your rights under warranty.
The maintenance programme shows the date of deli very, and this indicates
the starting date of the vehicle warranty.Maintenance ProgrammeThe SEAT maintenance programme consists of the dif ferent inspection serv-

the mileage.
Each Inspection Service, as well as any additional oper ation required already
has a pre-established work time. This will allow you to know the total cost of
the service beforehand.
The SEAT Service Centre network is equipped with modern works hop tech-
nology and well-trained specialists. Many SEAT Service C entres offer different
service packages at special prices.
Adverse conditionsThe Service Centre “service advisor” will inform you o f any necessary addi-
tional work within the intervals defined by the Inspection S ervice, according
to the conditions and environment in which the vehicle i s used. For example,
an oil change where the vehicle is used only for frequent short journeys or is
subject to extreme temperatures. Likewi se, when the vehicle is used in dusty
conditions the air, dust and pollen filter cartridges must be changed more
often and the timing belt checked.Diesel fuelThe Service Centre “service advisor” can provide information about which
countries use fuel with a high sulphur content. In th ese cases, the oil must be
changed every 7,500 km (5,000 miles).
