For instance, to remove the set from the car.
1. Switch the set on.
SelectPROG by pressing "PTY". PROGRAM willbe briefly
displayed and then "SAFE". Activate the setting by briefly
pressing again the "PTY" key. "1000" willflash on the screen
⇒fig. 39.
2. Enter the code number (from the Radio Card). See chapter
"Code activation".
3. Confirm the number by brieflypressing the "PTY" key, "CODE"
willbe displayed. The audio setisin operation.
Should you enter a wrong number you willstillsee "SAFE"
displayed, the audio will not sound. Startallove
r again. Make
sure you observe the waiting intervals between tries.
Coding is then permanently deactivated.When you assemble it
again backinto the car itwill workimmediately. To go back to
protection you will need to enter the code again by following the
processdescribed.
