CONTINUED
Check that the diagnostic socket, component code 225, is correctly supplied on the following connections:
–for Espace IV Phase 2:
•BCP4 between components 225 and unitary fuse 710,
•AP10 between components 225 and 260 (+ after ignition feed),
NC and MB of component 225.
–for Scénic II Phase 2:
•BP32 between components 225 and 260,
•AP43 between components 225 and 1337 (+ after ignition feed),
•NAM and MAM of component 225.
Check the continuity, insulation and absence of interference resistance on the following connections:
•107W and 107X between components 1714 and 225,
•133B and 133C between components 1714 and 225 (for Espace IV Phase 2)
•133B and 133C between components 1714 and 645 (for Scénic II Phase 2).
If the connection(s) is faulty and there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical wiring repair,
Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.
If dialogue is still not established after these various checks, replace the multimedia network interface unit,
component code 1714 (see MR 405 (Espace IV Phase 2) or MR 370 (Scénic II Phase 2) Mechanical, 83C,
On-board telematics system, Multimedia network interface unit: Removal - Refitting).
If the fault is still present, contact Techline.
