Was the test carried out with the
battery disconnected?Disconnect both terminals of
the battery.
Always replace the battery with one that has the same
electrical and dimensional specifications
(see MR 370, Mechanical, 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal – Refitting).
Start the vehicle again.
Does the vehicle restart?
The battery is sound.
Carry out a charging circuit test, Phase
1 (see Technical Note 6014A), Phase
2 (see MR 372, 87G, Engine
compartment connection unit).
