Starting the engine

turn the ignition key. When the engine is at idle,

R , D or M i s s e l e c t e d , t h e v e -
h i c l e m o v e s e v e n w i t h o u t t h e
a c c e l e r a t o r b e i n g p r e s s e d .
Do not leave children unsupervised
inside the vehicle, with position R, D
or M selected, with the engine run-
ning, as the vehicle moves even with-
out the accelerator being pressed.
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n o f f , i f t h e l e v e r
i s n o t i n p o s i t i o n P , an audible
s i g n a l i s h e a r d w h e n t h e d r i -
v e r ' s d o o r i s o p e n e d , o r a f t e r

ceases.
