Air diffuser
The air diffuser grille, located at the
t o p o f t h e c e n t r e c o n s o l e , s i g n i fi c a n t l y
i m p r o v e s d i s t r i b u t i o n a n d fl o w s a n d
p r e v e n t s a i r c u r r e n t s , w h i l e m a i n t a i n -
i n g a n o p t i m u m t e m p e r a t u r e i n s i d e t h e
p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t .
Advice on operation
To obtain even ventilation,
avoid closing the air diffuser
grille 9 .
I n h o t w e a t h e r , i n o r d e r t o o b t a i n i n -
t e n s e v e n t i l a t i o n , y o u c a n c l o s e t h e a i r
diffuser grille 10 and use vents 1 and
5 o n l y .
I f , w h e n t h e v e h i c l e h a s b e e n p a r k e d
in the sun for a long time, the interior
t e m p e r a t u r e r e m a i n s v e r y h i g h , d o n o t
h e s i t a t e t o v e n t i l a t e t h e p a s s e n g e r
c o m p a r t m e n t f o r a f e w m i n u t e s .
For even air distribution, take care

Lights off

With the ignition and the automatic
lights function switched off, on open-
ing the driver's door a buzzer sounds
to warn you that you have left your
lights on.
Front and rear fog lamps (ring B)
Turn ring B forwards to switch on
and backwards to switch off. The
p o s i t i o n i s c o n fi r m e d b y t h e l i g h t
on the instrument panel.
Front fog lamps (one press)
These operate with the side lights, dipped
headlamps or main beam headlamps. Rear fog lamps (two presses)
These operate with the side lights and
the front fog lamps, or with the dipped
or main beam headlamps.

If you forget to return the di-
rection indicator to its normal
position, the volume of the au-
dible signal will increase, if you
are driving at a speed greater
than 45 mph (70 km/h).
Parking lights *
The side lights are lit on the side the
t r a f fi c i s o n f o r a f e w h o u r s .
With the engine switched off and with-
in 45 seconds maximum, place the in-
d i c a t o r l i g h t s s t a l k o n t h e t r a f fi c s i d e
(for example: for parking on the right;
switching on of the lights on the left).
This is indicated by an audible signal
and lighting of the corresponding di-
rection indicator on the instrument
panel for a few seconds. If the parking lights are activated
when your vehicle switches to
economy mode, they will remain
on. However, you cannot acti-
vate the parking lights if your vehicle is
already in economy mode.
Dipped/main beam change
Pull the stalk fully towards you.

with the "AUTO" position,
you can deactivate or activate
the automatic lighting via the multi-

To release
Pull the handle and press the button to
release the handbrake.
To apply
When parking on a slope, turn the
wheels towards the kerb and apply the
handbrake.
Reverse
To change to reverse gear, lift the ring
under the gear lever knob and push
the gear lever to the left then to the
front.
Reverse gear can only be engaged
when the vehicle is stationary with
the engine idling.

Deactivation
Press button A to deactivate the sys-
tem (child asleep in the rear...). The in-
dicator light on the button comes on.
Note: this function will be de-
activated automatically when
a trailer is being towed (vehi-
c l e fi t t e d w i t h a t o w b a r r e c o m -
mended by PEUGEOT ).
Reactivation
Press button A again to reactivate the
system. The indicator light on the but-
ton is switched off.
If there is an operating fault,
when reverse gear is engaged,
t h e i n d i c a t o r l i g h t fl a s h e s , a c c o m -
panied by an audible signal and
a message on the multifunction
display.

duction in the performance
of the system, the handbrake
should be adjusted.

ing of the additive reservoir are carried

After changing the wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts and the tyre pressure of the spare wheel
checked as soon as possible.
-
have the punctured wheel repaired and
r e fi t i t t o t h e v e h i c l e a s s o o n a s p o s s i b l e .
- have the spare wheel checked and replace it in its boot recess.
Fitting a wheel
Position the wheel.
Tighten the bolts by hand.
Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
Fold the jack 2 and remove it.
Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .

the covers.
Put the tool holder back in position.
T h i s h e l p s t o k e e p t h e b o o t fl o o r i n
its correct position, to prevent any
d e f o r m a t i o n o f t h e fl o o r w h e n l o a d e d .
Tighten the spare wheel securing
strap to prevent noise and for your
safety in the event of impact.
Reminder: for your safety, always
change a wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery ground,
- with the handbrake applied,
- w i t h fi r s t o r r e v e r s e g e a r e n g a g e d (position P for the automatic gear-
box),
- never go underneath a vehicle which is supported only by a jack.
Tools available
The following tools are located in
the holder in the centre of the spare
wheel:
1. Wheelbrace. Permits removal of
the wheel trim and removal of the
wheel securing bolts.
2. Jack with integrated handle.
Permits raising of the vehicle.
3. Removable towing eye. See corre-
sponding section.
4. Bolt cover tool. Permits removal of
the bolt protectors (covers) on al-
loy wheels. Removal
For vehicles with alloy wheels, re-
move the covers using tool 4 .
Loosen the wheel bolts.
Place the jack 2 in one of the four
locations underneath the vehicle
(the nearest one to the wheel to be
changed).
Extend the jack 2 until its base is in
contact with the ground.
Unscrew the bolts and remove the
wheel.

CHANGING A REAR BULB
1. Direction indicators: W 16 W.
2. Fog lamps: P21 W.
3. Reversing lights: P21 W.
4. Brake lights/side lights: P21/5 W.
Fold down the panel to gain access
to the light.
U n s c r e w t h e 2 l i g h t fi x i n g n u t s i n s i d e
the boot.
Disconnect the connector.
Pull the light towards the outside.
Unscrew the bulb holder sleeve a
quarter of a turn.
Unscrew the faulty bulb and
change it.
Screw in the bulb holder sleeve a
quarter of a turn.
Put the light back in place from the
outside.
Reconnect the connector.

s i d e t h e b o o t . W h e n r e fi t t i n g , e n -
sure that the light is positioned and
fi x e d c o r r e c t l y .
Number plate lights: W 5 W.
Remove the transparent cover us-
ing a screwdriver.
Change the faulty bulb.
Third brake light: diodes.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer for replacement.
