SEAT MODULARITY AND VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS

It is imperative that the operations
t o c h a n g e t h e e x i s t i n g c o n fi g u r a -
tion are carried out when stationary
(see paragraphs "Rear seats" and
"Additional seats" of the SW with
panoramic roof).
Special features
The side seats of the 2nd row can be
re-aligned, once the central seat has
been removed.
The 2nd row seats can be installed in
the 3rd row.
Conversely, the 3rd row seats cannot
be installed in the 2nd row.
5 seats with additional seats folded
Do not seat passengers in the 3rd
row if the 2nd row seats are in the
fully folded position.

ACCESS
GLASS PANORAMIC ROOF
Component which has a tinted glass
panoramic surface to increase the light
and visibility in the passenger compart-
ment.
Fitted with an electric shutter in several
sections to improve temperature and
noise related comfort. If the shutter meets an obstacle
during operation, you must reverse
the movement of the shutter. To do
this, press the control concerned.
When the driver operates the shut-
ter control, he must ensure that no
one is preventing correct closing of
the shutter.
The driver must ensure that pas-
sengers use the shutter correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the shutter.

manual mode
Pull or press control A gently.
The shutter stops when you release the control. -
automatic mode
Pull or press control A fi r m l y .
One press opens or closes the shutter completely.
Pressing the control again stops the shutter.
Safety auto-reverse
In automatic mode and at the end of its
travel, if the shutter meets an obstacle
while closing it stops and moves back
slightly.
One-touch electric shutter
There are two options for opening and
closing: If the shutter’s supply is cut off, the
safety auto-reverse must be reini-
tialised:
press the control until the
shutter is fully closed.
If the shutter re-opens during the
closing manoeuvre, and immedi-
ately after it stops:
pull the control until the shutter
is fully open,
press the control until the
shutter is fully closed.
The safety auto-reverse function
is not operational during these
operations.

High load retaining net
Hooked onto the special upper and low-
e r fi x i n g s , t h i s p e r m i t s u s e o f t h e e n t i r e
loading volume up to the roof:
- behind the rear seats (row 2),
- behind the front seats (row 1) when the rear seats are folded.
To use it in row 1:
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net’s
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 1 , then do the same with the
other end,
slacken the straps fully,
fi x t h e s n a p h o o k o f e a c h o f t h e
straps on the corresponding bar 3 ,
located under the cushion of the
rear seats,
fold the rear seats,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. To use it in row 2:
fold or remove the load space
cover,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 2 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net’s
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 2 , then do the same with the
other end,
fi x t h e s n a p h o o k o f e a c h o f t h e
straps in the corresponding ring 4 ,
located on the rear seats mechanism
support,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.
This net can be stored in the stor-
a g e t r a y o n t h e fl o o r .

High load retaining net
Hooked onto the special upper and low-
e r fi x i n g s , t h i s p e r m i t s u s e o f t h e e n t i r e
loading volume up to the roof behind
the seats of the 2nd row. 12 V accessories socket
In order to connect a 12 V accessory
( m a x p o w e r : 1 0 0 W a t t s ) , r e m o v e
the cap and connect the appropriate
adaptor.
Turn the key to the ignition position.
To use the net in the 2nd row (additional
seats folded or removed):
roll up or remove the load space
screen,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net’s
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 1 , then do the same with the
other end,
attach the snap hook of each of the
net’s straps in the corresponding
ring 2 , l o c a t e d o n t h e l o w e r fi x i n g o f
the rear side seat belt,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. Hooks
The hooks permit the securing of shop-
ping bags.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.

Installation Removal and storing
Press the red button on the buckle
B , then on the buckle A .
Guide the strap as it rolls up and
bring the tongue B , then A onto the
magnet of the attachment point on
the roof.
3 rd row rear seat belts
Installation
Pull the strap and insert the tongue
C in the buckle, on the boot side trim
side.
Insert the tongue D in the opposite
buckle.
Check the fastening of each buckle
by pulling the strap.
Pull the strap and insert the tongue
A in the left-hand buckle.
Insert the tongue B in the right-hand
buckle.
Check the fastening of each buckle
by pulling the strap.
The seat belts for the rear seats of the
3 rd row are incorporated at the corner
of the corresponding boot pillar and of
the roof. If the two side seats of the 2nd row
are re-aligned, always use the rear
side seat belts.
Removal and storing
Press the red button on the buckle
D , then on the buckle C .
Guide the strap as it rolls up and
bring the tongue D , then C onto the
magnet of the attachment point on
the corresponding boot pillar.
The seat belt for the rear centre seat of
the 2 nd row is incorporated at the rear
left of the roof.

Do not charge the batteries without

Do not push the vehicle to start the
e n g i n e i f i t i s fi t t e d w i t h a 6 - s p e e d
p i l o t e d m a n u a l g e a r b o x .
The batteries contain harmful sub-
stances such as sulphuric acid and
lead. They must be disposed of in
accordance with regulations and
must not, in any circumstances, be
discarded with household waste.
Take used remote control batteries
and vehicle batteries to a special
collection point.
Charging the battery using a
battery charger
Disconnect the battery from the
vehicle.
Follow the instructions for use
provided by the manufacturer of the
charger.
Reconnect starting with the negative
terminal (-).
Check that the terminals and
connectors are clean. If they are
covered with sulphate (whitish or
greenish deposit), remove them and
clean them.
At the risk of discharging the bat-
tery, the deactivated functions can
be reactivated manually.
LOAD REDUCTION MODE
System which manages the use of cer-
tain functions in relation to the level of
charge remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the
load reduction function temporarily deac-
tivates certain functions, such as the air
conditioning, the rear screen de-icing...
The deactivated functions are reactivated
automatically as soon as conditions
permit.
It is advisable to disconnect the
battery if the vehicle is to be left un-
used for more than one month. Before disconnecting
the battery
Wait 2 minutes after switching off
the ignition before disconnecting
the battery.
Close the windows and the doors
before disconnecting the battery.
Following reconnection of
the battery
Following reconnection of the
battery, switch on the ignition
and wait 1 minute before starting
to permit initialisation of the
electronic systems. However, if
s l i g h t d i f fi c u l t i e s a r e e n c o u n t e r e d
following this operation, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Referring to the corresponding sec-
tion, you must yourself reinitialise:
- the remote control key,
- the glass panoramic roof shutter,
- the GPS satellite navigation
system.
