COMFORT
Manual operation
If you wish, you can make a different
choice from that offered by the system
by changing a setting. The other func-
tions will still be controlled automati-
cally.
Pressing the "AUTO" button returns
the system to completely automatic
operation.

This action switches off all of the functions
of the system.
Temperature related comfort is no longer
g u a r a n t e e d b u t a s l i g h t fl o w o f a i r , d u e
to the movement of the vehicle, can still
be felt.

vate the system with the values set
before it was switched off.
Press this button for recir-
culation of the interior air.
The indicator light on the
button comes on.

Avoid driving for prolonged periods
with the system off.

interior air (risk of condensation and
deterioration of the air quality).

Air recirculation enables the passenger
compartment to be isolated from exte-
rior odours and smoke.
Switching the system off could result in
discomfort (humidity, condensation).
Press this button again to return to
automatic operation of the air con-
ditioning. The indicator light on the
"A/C" button comes on.

GLOVE BOX WITH LOCK AND AIR CONDITIONING
This has areas for storing a bottle of
water, the vehicle's handbook pack, ...
Its lid has areas for storing a pen, a pair
of spectacles, tokens, cards, a can...
It is also locked or unlocked when the
vehicle is locked or unlocked using the
remote control or the key.
To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
The light comes on when the lid is
opened.
I f t h e v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g ,
it provides access to the air vent A , which
can be opened or closed, distributing the
same conditioned air as the vents in the
passenger compartment.
SUN VISOR
Component which protects against
sunlight from the front or the side, also
equipped with an illuminated courtesy
mirror.
With the ignition on, raise the
c o n c e a l i n g fl a p ; t h e m i r r o r i s l i t
automatically.
This sun visor is also equipped with a
ticket holder.
BAG HOOK
Press the lower part of the hook to
unfold it.
Hang the strap of your bag on the
hook to secure it.

A low additive level is indicated by lighting
of the service warning light, accompanied
by an audible warning and a message on
the multifunction display.

these components in accordance with
the servicing booklet and in relation to
your engine.
Otherwise, have them checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
B a t t e r y
The battery does not require
any maintenance.
H o w e v e r , c h e c k t h a t t h e t e r -
minals are clean and correctly
tightened, particularly in sum-
mer and winter.
When carrying out work on the battery,
refer to the "Practical information" sec-
tion for details of the precautions to be
taken before disconnecting the battery
and following its reconnection.
Air filter and passenger compartment filter
Refer to the servicing booklet
for details of the replacement
intervals for these components.
Depending on the environment
(dusty atmosphere...) and the
use of the vehicle (city driving...), replace
t h e m t w i c e a s o f t e n i f n e c e s s a r y (refer
to the "Engines" paragraph).
A c l o g g e d p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l t e r
may have an adverse effect on the per-
formance of the air conditioning system
