Following this operation, if you
wish to disconnect the battery, lock
t h e v e h i c l e a n d w a i t a t l e a s t fi v e
mi nutes for the zero reset to be
taken into account.
Service indicator zero reset
After each service, the service indicator
must be reset to zero.
To do this, carry out the following pro-
cedure:
switch off the ignition,
press and hold the trip distance recorder zero reset button,
switch on the ignition; the distance recorder display begins a count-
down,
when the display indicates "=0" ,
release the button; the spanner dis-
appears.
The distance remaining may be
weighted by the time factor, depen-
ding on the driver's driving habits.
Therefore, the spanner may also
come on if you have exceeded the
two year service interval.
Service overdue
For 5 seconds after the ignition is
switched on,
t h e s p a n n e r fl a s h e s to
indicate that the service must be carried
out as soon as possible.
Example: the service is overdue by
300 miles (km).
For 5 seconds after the ignition is
switched on, the display indicates:
5 seconds after the ignition is switched
on, the distance recorder resumes
its normal operation. The spanner
remains lit . Retrieving the service information
You can access the service information
at any time.
Press the trip distance recorder zero
reset button.
The service information is displayed for a few seconds, then disappears.

PEUGEOT recommends that chil-
dren should travel in the rear seats
of your vehicle:
- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the age
of 2.
GENERAL POINTS RELATING TO CHILD SEATS INSTALLING A CHILD SEAT USING A THREE POINT SEAT BELT
"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
a d j u s t t h e v e h i c l e ' s s e a t t o t h e i n t e r m e -
diate longitudinal position with the seat
back upright and leave the passenger
air bag armed.
"Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
it is essential that the passenger air
bag is disarmed. Otherwise, the child
would risk being seriously injured or
k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
Intermediate longitudinal position

For maximum safety, please follow

In accordance with European regulations, this table indicates the options for the installation of child seats secured using the
seat belt and universally approved (a) in relation to the weight of the child and the seat i n the vehicle
(a) Universal child seat: child seat which can be installed in a ll vehicles using the seat belt.
(b) Group 0: from birth to 10 kg. Infant car seats and "car" cots cann ot be installed on the front passenger seat.
(c) Consult the legislation in force in your country before insta lling your child on this seat.
(d) To install a child seat, move the front seat forw ard, then put the seat back in the upright position to leave enough space for
the child seat and the child's legs. The front seat can be moved further forward than the intermediate longitudinal position.
