A fl at battery prevents the engine
from starting (refer to the corre-
sponding paragraph).
If the telephone is being used at
this time:
- it will be maintained for 5 minutes with the RD4 audio equipment
hands-free kit,
- it will still be possible to fi n- ish the call with the RT4 GPS
audio/telephone.
ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of
use of certain functions to conserve a
suffi cient level of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can
still use functions such as the audio
equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
headlamps, courtesy lights, etc. for a
maximum combined duration of thirty
minutes. Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated automati-
cally next time the vehicle is driven.

 In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, start the en-
gine and let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be
double the duration for which the en-
gine is left running. However, this period
will always be between fi ve and thirty
minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once the thirty minutes are over, a
message appears on the multi-function
display indicating that the vehicle has
switched to economy mode and the ac-
tive functions are put on standby.
CHANGING A WIPER BLADE
Procedure for replacing a worn wiper
blade with a new one without the use
of tools.
Removing a front or rear wiper
blade

 Raise the corresponding wiper arm.

 Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting a front or rear wiper
blade

 At the front, check the size of the
wiper blade as the shorter blade is
fi tted on the right-hand side of the
vehicle.

 Put the corresponding new wiper
blade in place and clip it.

 Fold down the wiper arm carefully.

Registering on the site allows access to the vehicle handbook documentation, which can be consulted free of charg e. The RT4 GPS audio/telephone is coded in such a way that it will only operate in your vehicle. If it is to be installed in another vehicle, contact your PEUGEOT dealer for confi guration of the system.
For safety reasons, the driver must carry out operations which require prolonged attention while the vehicle is stationary. When the engine is off and in order to prevent discharging of the battery, the RT4 GPS audio/telep hone may switch off after a few minutes.

ADDING A STAGE
During guidance, press the MENU button.
Turn the dial and select the NAVIGATION GUIDANCE function.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Turn the dial and select the JOURNEY LEGS AND ROUTE function.
JOURNEY LEGS AND ROUTE
Select OK and press the dial to confi rm the order of the stages.
When the new address has been entered, select OK and press the dial to confi rm.
Enter for example a new address.
Select the ADD A STAGE function (9 stages maximum) and press the dial to confi rm.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
The stage must be completed or deleted before the guidance can continue to the next destination. Otherwise, the RT4 GPS audio/telephone will always guide you back to the previous stage.

Press the MENU button then select the CONFIGURATIO N function, then SOUNDS, then ACTIVATE AUXILIARY SOURCE to acti vate the auxiliary input of the RT4 GPS audio/telephone.
Connect the portable equipment (MP3 player…) to the audio sockets (white and red, RCA type) located in the glove box using a JACK/RCA audio cable.
Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select AUX.
Insert one or more CDs in the changer. Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select CD CHANGER.
Press one of the buttons on the alphanumeric keypad to select the corresponding CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a track on the CD.
The displaying and management of the commands take s place via the portable equipment.
It is not possible to copy the fi les onto the hard disc from the auxiliary input.
It is not possible to copy the fi les onto the hard disc from the CD changer.
