If the temperature gauge indicates
overheating, the vehicle loses power, or
you hear a loud knocking or pinging
noise, the engine is probably too hot.

Starting a Flooded Engine

Follow this procedure:

1. Remove the rubber hose from thebattery cover.
2. Remove the battery cover from its right
side.
3. Make sure the booster battery is 12 Vand that its negative terminal is
grounded
