Heated Windshield Washer
Fluid (if equipped)
Press the (Heated Washer Fluid)
button, located below the climate controls on the instrument panel, to sprayheated washer fluid on the windshield.This will help to clear ice, tree sap or
bugs from the windshield. A light on theswitch will flash while the washer fluid is
heated, which may take up to 40 sec
onds. The wipers will automatically turnon for four heated wash cycles or untilthe button is pressed again.

Your vehicle is equipped with an
Automatic Headlamp System, which
turns on the Daytime Running Lamps
(DRL) during the day and the headlamps and other exterior lamps at nightor when necessary.
The system uses a light sensor, located
on top of the instrument panel, to determine light conditions. For proper systemoperation, avoid placing any objects on
or near the sensor.
The exterior and interior lamp controls
are located on the instrument panel tothe left of the steering wheel.

Exterior Lamp Controls
(On/Off):
Turn the knob to this posi
tion to turn off the Automatic Headlamp
System and DRL. Turn the knob to thisposition again to turn them on.
AUTO (Automatic):This position turns
on the Automatic Headlamp System
and DRL.
(Parking Lamps):This position
turns on the parking lamps and taillamps.
(Headlamps):This position turns
on the headlamps and other exteriorlamps.
(Fog Lamps)(if equipped): Press
this button to turn the fog lamps onoroff.
Interior Lamp Controls
(Instrument Panel Brightness):
Turn this popout knob to adjust the
brightness of the instrument panel lights.
(Dome Lamp Override):Press in
this button to turn the dome lamps
off when a door is open. Press the but
ton again to have the dome lamps turn
on automatically when a door is open.

The power sunroof
switch, located onthe
overhead console,includes these features:

Crew Cab
The power
sunroof switches, located onthe overheadconsole,include these features:

the rear of the passengerside switch tovent the sunroof.
To close the sunroof, press and hold the
front of the passengerside switch.
ManualOpen/ManualClose:To partial
ly open the sunroof, press and hold therear of the driverside switch until thesunroof reaches the desired position.Press and hold the front of the driverside switch to close it.
ExpressOpen/ExpressClose:To
expressopen the sunroof, fully press
and release the rear of the driversideswitch. Fully press and release the frontof the driverside switch to expressclose the sunroof. Press the switchagain to stop it.

Power Sliding Rear Window
(if equipped)
The power sliding rear window switch is
located on the overhead console. Pressand hold the rear of the switch to open
This feature uses ultrasonic sensors
on the rear bumpers to help you avoidcolliding with objects when parking thevehicle. It operates only at speeds lessthan 5 mph.
The rear parking assist display is
located near the rear window on thepassenger side. The lights on the
display provide
distance information. Lowtonedbeeps play out ofthe speakers (forobjects near therear bumper).
To turn off the
system, press the (Rear Parking
Assist) disable button, located below the
climate controls on the instrument panel.The indicator light will illuminate when
the system is off.

Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist
(if equipped)
Note: The Ultrasonic Rear Parking
Assist (URPA) system will not activate
if you have a trailer hitch and trailerattached to your vehicle, or a bicycle orother object was hanging out of your
vehicle, when you last turned off thevehicle. Removing the attached orhanging objects and driving the vehicleforward above 15 mph will restore the
URPA system to normal operation.

The 6speed automatic transmission has
a Range Selection Mode feature thatenables the driver to select the range
of gears desired for the current drivingconditions, such as when driving ondownhill grades.
To use this feature, move the shift lever
to the Manual (M) position and select alower or higher driving gear using the
+ / – button on the shift lever. The display on theinstrument panelcluster will showthe current gearselection.
The transmis
sion will be limit
ed to the gear selected and lower gears.Gears higher than the gear selected willnot be available.
If current vehicle speed is too high or
too low for the requested gear, the shift
will not occur.

System (if equipped)
Tire Pressure Monitor
The Tire Pressure Monitor alerts you
when a significant reduction in pressure
occurs in one or more of your vehicle’s
tires by illuminating the (Low TirePressure) warning light on the instru
ment panel cluster. The low tire pressure
warning light will remain on until youcorrect the tire pressure. ACHECK TIRE
PRESSURE message will also appear
on the DIC.
Correcting the Tire Pressure
When the low tire pressure warning light
illuminates, you must fill the tire to theproper tire inflation pressure (just as youmust refuel the vehicle when the low
fuel warning light illuminates). The Tireand Loading Information label shows thecorrect inflation pressure for the tireswhen they’re cold. “Cold” means your
directional control of the vehicle in
difficult driving conditions. It turns onautomatically every time you start yourvehicle.
To limit wheelspin and help maintain
directional control, you should always
leave the system on. However, if yourvehicle becomes stuck and rocking thevehicle is required, the system should
be turned off.
To turn off the traction control part of
the system, press the (StabiliTrak)
button located below the climate con
trols on the instrument panel.
To turn off the traction control and stabil
ity enhancement systems, press andhold the button for five seconds.
When the system is turned off, the
StabiliTrak light will illuminate.

vehicle has been sitting for at least three
hours or driven no more than one mile.
You can temporarily clear the DIC
message by acknowledging it with
your DIC controls. However, at the nextvehicle startup, the DIC message willreappear if the tire pressure has notbeen corrected.
During cooler conditions, the low tire
pressure warning light may appear whenthe vehicle is first started and then turn
off as you start to drive the vehicle. Thiscould be an early indicator that your tirepressures are getting low and need tobe inflated to the proper pressure.

Note:The Tire Pressure Monitor can
alert you about low tire pressure, but itdoesn’t replace normal monthly tiremaintenance.
Integrated Trailer Brake Control
System (if equipped)
The control
panel for theIntegratedTrailer Brake
Control (ITBC)system islocated on theinstrumentpanel to theleft of the steering wheel.
The control panel allows you to adjust
the amount of output available to theelectric trailer brakes and to manuallyIf the Tighten Gas Cap message is
displayed on the Driver InformationCenter (DIC), check that your fuel cap
is properly installed. If the cap is notsecurely fastened, turn it clockwise untila clicking sound is heard, indicating that
it is properly installed. The DIC messagewill turn off after a few driving trips with
the cap properly installed.

Tighten Gas Cap Message
Note:If the brakes are manually
applied, the brake lights do not turn on.
If your vehicle has a yellow gas cap, it
was engineered as a FlexFuel vehiclecapable of running on gasoline or E85fuel. E85 is a blend of 85% ethanol and15% gasoline. E85 is a highoctane,renewable fuel made primarily from corn
(see livegreengoyellow.com).
Your FlexFuel vehicle automatically
detects the current fuel mixture in thefuel tank and adjusts engine settings
accordingly. You can fill up with gasolineor E85, regardless of which fuel isalready in the tank.
