Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine WARNINGS
Replace the wiper blades assoon as they begin to leavebands of water and smears or whenthey do not completely remove waterfrom the windscreen. If the bladesare not replaced, the rain sensor willcontinue to detect water on thewindscreen. This will result in thewipers continuing to operatealthough the majority of thewindscreen is dry.
In icy conditions, make sure thatthe windscreen has been fullydefrosted before selectingautowipers.
Switch off the autowipersbefore entering a car wash.
Note:The autowipers feature isintended for use during wet weatherconditions only. It should not beselected in dry weather conditionsas the system is very sensitive toobjects such as dirt, mist or flieshitting the windscreen near the rainsensor. This may cause the wipersto wipe even though the screen ismostly dry.
Note:The autowipers functionshould not be selected when it issnowing or foggy, or when the roadshave been salted. In these weatherconditions, select position A, C or D,if necessary.
When the lever is moved to positionB with the ignition switched on, thewipers will cycle once regardless ofwhether the front screen is wet ordry.
Depending on the equipment fitted, when the ignition is switched on withthe lever already in position B, thewipers will not cycle until water isdetected on the windscreen.Alternatively, move the lever toanother position and then back to B,or operate the washer.
Thereafter, the rain sensor willcontinuously measure the amount ofwater on the windscreen and adjustthe speed of the front wipersautomatically (single wipe, intermittent, normal or high speedwipe).
Low sensitivityA
High sensitivityB
A.The wipers will only wipe when alarger amount of water isdetected on the windscreen
B.The wipers will wipe even if only asmall amount of water is detectedon the windscreen.
Six settings are available from low tohigh sensitivity.

When the vehicle speed is increased, the wiper speed will return to themanually-chosen setting.
Moving the wiper lever when thesystem is operating will switch off thesystem.
