SIGNALLING
Direction indicators
Left: move the stalk downwards.
Right: move the stalk upwards.
Movement of the steering wheel returns the stalk to the off position automatically.
Hazard warning lamps
Simultaneous operation of the direc-tion indicators.
Only use these if there is danger,for example when you have to stop suddenly or in unusual driving con-ditions.
They also operate without the igni-tion being on.

T h e h e a d l a m p fl a s h o p e r a t e s e v e n with the ignition off.
Emergency lighting of hazard warning lamps
Sudden vehicle deceleration auto-matically causes the hazard warning lamps to activate.
These cease automatically when you reaccelerate or manually if you press the hazard warning lamps control on the dashboard.
Driving with the hazard warning lamps on renders the direction indicators inoperable.

ISOFIX anchoring points and the ISOFIX fastening system
The lateral rear seat positions are equipped with the ISOFIX regulation anchorages.
Some ISOFIX child seats also have a top belt, which is for attaching on the ISOFIX "top" ring c.
To attach the top belt, raise the head restraint of the vehicle seat, then pass the buckle between the two s u p p o r t s . N e x t fi x t h e b u c k l e o n t h e "top" ring c and tension the top belt.
In all cases, the head restraint has to be raised to the maximum.
T h i s fi x i n g s y s t e m i s i n t e n d e d f o r children weighing up to 18 kg.
There are 3 rings for each seat position:
- Two "bottom" rings a and b located between the backrest and the vehicle seat. These are about 28 cm apart.
- One "top" ring c located in the boot between the wheelarch and the seat backrest.
ISOFIX child seats have two latches which are easy to secure on the two "bottom" rings a and b.
