Proximity sensors are located in the rear bumper of your vehicle.
When you are manœuvring in reverse gear at a speed of less than around 10 km/h, they inform you of the presence of any obsta-cle located within their detection zone, by means of:An audible signal emitted by the rear loudspeakers on the LH and/or RH side.Display of the outline of your vehicle with shading corresponding to the area where an obstacle is detected.
As the vehicle approaches the obs-tacle, the sound signal becomes more and more urgent and the shaded areas are displayed closer and closer to the vehicle.
When the obstacle is less than around 25 centimetres from the vehicle, the sound signal becomes continuous with display of a "WARNING" panel on the screen.

Towing with wheels on the ground

To access them:Carefully lift the access cover.
Release it by pressing on the lower part.
A lug keeps the cover attached to the bumper, so that it do es not become lost.
The ignition key must be in position M to retain steering.
Use a bar with attachments to the towing eyes as above.
Vehicles with manual gearbox (diesel models)
For vehicles with a manual gearbox, the gear lever must be in "neutral", otherwise some components in the braking system could b ecome damaged and impair braking assistance the next time the engine is started.
