This connects stations which are part of the same network. It enables the b r o a d c a s t o f t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n , b y a station that is part of the same net-work as the station to which you are listening.
This service is available when you have selected the TA t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n p r o -TAgramme or the PTY function. PTY
PTY function
This allows you to listen to stations broad- c a s t i n g a s p e c i fi c t y p e o f p r o g r a m m e (news, culture, sport, rock, etc.).
To search for a PTY programme: PTY
With FM selected, press the "TA" but-ton for more than two seconds to switch this function on or off.
- select the PTY function, PTY
- b r i e fl y p r e s s b u t t o n L or N to scroll down the list of the various types of programmes offered.
- when the programme of your choice is displayed, keep button L or N pressed for more than two seconds to carry out an automatic search (after an automatic search the PTY function is switched off). PTY
In PTY mode the different types of PTYprogrammes can be stored in the memory. To do this, press the prese-lection buttons "1" to "6" for more t h a n t w o s e c o n d s . B r i e fl y p r e s s t h e corresponding button to recall the type of programme stored in the memory.
