3. G u i d e t h e t i l t i n g o f t h e s e a t b a c k f o r w a r d s u n t i l t h e r e a r a n c h o r a g e s a r e u n l o c k e d . I f y o u e x p e r i e n c e a n y d i f fi c u l t y , u s e t h e r e d e m e r g e n c y control to unlock the anchorages.
4. P l a c e t h e s e a t i n t h e v e r t i c a l c l o s e d position.
F o l l o w i n g e a c h e n t r y o r e x i t , r e p o s i t i o n t h e r a i s e d s e a t g u i d i n g it until the rear anchorages lock in their rails.

F o l d t h e s e a t b a c k o n t o t h e s e a t c u s h i o n a n d g u i d e t h e t i l t i n g o f t h e s e a t b a c k f o r w a r d s u n t i l t h e r e a r a n c h o r a g e s a r e u n l o c k e d . I f y o u e x p e r i e n c e a n y d i f fi c u l t y , u s e t h e emergency control to unlock the anchorages.

Seat back folded position
1. P l a c e t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t s i n t h e l o w position.
2. Pull the strap C u p w a r d s , f r o m t h e tailgate.
3. Tilt the seat back on the seat cushion.
Vertical position of the bench seat
1. P l a c e t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t s i n t h e l o w position.
2. Pull the strap C u p w a r d s , f r o m t h e tailgate.
3. F o l d t h e s e a t b a c k o n t o t h e s e a t cushion .
4. Pull the lever D to unlock the rear anchorages.
5. Place the seat in the vertical " f o l d e d " p o s i t i o n .

GENERAL POINTS RELATING
TO CHILD SEATS
Although one of PEUGEOT’s main
criteria when designing your vehicle,
the safety of your children also
depends on you.
For maximum safety, please follow
these precautions:
- in accordance with Directive 2003/20, all children under the age
o f 1 2 o r l e s s t h a n o n e m e t r e fi f t y t a l l
must travel in approved child seats
suited to their weight, on seats
fi t t e d w i t h a s e a t b e l t o r I S O F I X
mountings,
- statistically, the safest seats in your vehicle for the transportation of
children are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg must travel in the "rearwards-
facing" position both in the front
and in the rear. "Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat, it
is essential that the passenger air bag
is disarmed. Otherwise, the child would
risk being seriously injured or killed if
t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat,
leave the passenger air bag armed.
INSTALLING A CHILD SEAT USING A THREE POINT SEAT BELT
Intermediate longitudinal
position
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a p a s s e n g e r
seat with longitudinal adjustment,
adjust it to the intermediate longitudinal
position, seat back upright.
PEUGEOT recommends that children
should travel in the rear seats of your
vehicle :
-
"rearwards-facing" up to the age of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the age of 2.
