Interior mirror
Adjustable mirror providing a central
rearward view.

T h e m i r r o r i s fi t t e d w i t h a n i g h t - t i m e
anti-dazzle device.
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror so that the
glass is directed correctly in the
"day" position.
Day/night position
Pull the lever to change to the
"night" anti-dazzle position.
Push the lever to change to the
normal "day" position. In order to prevent dazzle, the inte-
rior mirror glass darkens automati-
cally in relation to the intensity of the
light from the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam
of following vehicles, sun...) de-
creases, so guaranteeing optimum
visibility.
Switching on
Switch on the ignition and press
switch 1 .
The indicator light 2 comes on and
the mirror operates automatically.
Switching off
Press switch 1 .
The indicator light 2 switches off and
the mirror remains in its lightest state.
In order to guarantee optimum vis-
ibility during your manoeuvres, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.
STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and depth of the steer-
ing wheel can be adjusted to adapt
the driving position to the size of the
driver.
Adjustment
First, adjust the driver's seat to
the most suitable position.
When stationary
, stationarystationary pull the con-
trol to unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and depth.
Push the control to lock the
steering wheel.
A f t e r l o c k i n g , i f y o u p r e s s fi r m l y o n
the steering wheel, a slight click may
be heard.
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
"blind spot". Automatic day/night model
System which automatically and
progressively changes between the
day and night uses.
As a safety precaution, it is impera-
tive that these operations are carried
out while the vehicle is stationary.

DIRECTION INDICATORS
Lower the lights stalk fully when
moving to the left.
Raise the lights stalk fully when
moving to the right.
HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS
A visual warning by means of the di-
rection indicators to alert other road
users to a vehicle breakdown, tow-
ing or accident.
Automatic lighting of hazard
warning lights
When braking in an emergency,
depending on the deceleration, the
hazard warning lights come on.
They will switch off automatically the
fi r s t t i m e y o u a c c e l e r a t e .
If they do not, press button A to
switch the direction indicators off. HORN
Selection of the left or right direction
indicators to signal a change of di-
rection of the vehicle.
Press button A , the direction in-
d i c a t o r s fl a s h .
They can operate with the ignition
off.

jam, switch on the hazard warn-
ing lights if you are the last in the
queue. Audible warning system to alert other
road users to an imminent danger.
Press at the lower part of the

U s e t h e h o r n e x c l u s i v e l y a n d
moderately in the following cases:
- immediate danger,
- approaching a location lacking visibility.

the tyre pressure during driving and
trigger a warning in the event of
malfunction (speed above 12 mph
(20 km/h)).
Flat tyre T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is an aid to driving which
does not replace the need for the
driver to be vigilant or to drive
responsibly. Puncture
The service warning light
comes on on the instru-
ment panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and
a message on the multi-

the wheel concerned.
Check the tyre pressures as soon as
possible. This check must be carried
out when the tyres are cold. The STOP warning light
comes on on the instrument

Stop immediately, avoiding any sudden
movement of the steering wheel and
the brakes

Change the damaged wheel (punctured

pressure checked as soon as possible

Sensor(s) not detected or faulty
The service warning light
comes on on the instru-
ment panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and

the wheel or wheels which are not
detected or indicating a fault in the
system.
Have the faulty sensor(s) checked
by a CITROËN dealer. All repairs and changing of tyres
o n a w h e e l fi t t e d w i t h t h i s s y s t e m
must be carried out by a CITROËN
dealer.
If, when changing a tyre, you
install a wheel which is not detect-
e d b y y o u r v e h i c l e ( e x a m p l e : fi t t i n g
of snow tyres), you must have the
system reinitialised by a CITROËN
dealer.
This system does not eliminate
the need to have the tyre pres-
sure checked regularly (refer to the
" T e c h n i c a l d a t a - § I d e n t i fi c a t i o n
features" section) to ensure that the
optimum dynamic performance of
the vehicle is maintained and pre-
vent premature wear of the tyres,
particularly in arduous driving con-
ditions (heavy load, high speed).
The tyre pressures must be
checked cold, at least once a
month. Remember to check the
pressure of the spare wheel.

s y s t e m m a y e x p e r i e n c e t e m p o r a r y
interference due to radioelectric
emissions on a frequency close to
that used by the system.
This message is also displayed
when one of the wheels is away
from the vehicle (being repaired) or
when one or more wheels without a
s e n s o r a r e fi t t e d .

sensor.

Controls under the steering
wheel
The levers under the steering wheel
give you access to all six forward
gears. Changing gear
Pull the lever "+" to change up a
gear.
Pull the lever "-" to change down
a gear. The levers do not permit you to se-
lect neutral or reverse gear, or to exit
reverse gear.
- If the vehicle stops or reduces
speed (for example when ap-
proaching a stop sign), the gear-
box changes down automatically
t o fi r s t g e a r .
- In manual mode, it is not neces- sary to release the accelerator
completely during gear changes.
- A request to change gear is ac- cepted only if the engine speed
permits it.
- For safety reasons, depending on the engine speed, a change
down may be performed auto-
matically.
In situations of high engine
speeds (heavy acceleration),
a change up will not occur
unless the driver actions this
on the lever controls.
