Adjust the mirror so that the glass is
d i r e c t e d c o r r e c t l y i n t h e " d a y " p o s i -
tion.
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
" b l i n d s p o t " .
T h e m i r r o r i s fi t t e d w i t h a n i g h t - t i m e a n t i -
dazzle device.
D a y / n i g h t p o s i t i o n
P u l l t h e l e v e r t o c h a n g e t o t h e " n i g h t "
anti-dazzle position.
Push the lever to change to the nor-
m a l " d a y " p o s i t i o n .

STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and depth of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.

Therefore, the lights will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, linked with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror;
the associated functions would no
longer be controlled.
Linked with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- automatic activation of "guide-me-
home" lighting when automatic light-
ing is switched on (in the vehicle
parameters of the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ) ,
- selection of the duration of main- taining of the lighting for 15, 30 or
60 seconds in the vehicle parameters
of the multifunction display con-
fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ( e x c e p t f o r mono-
chrome display A where this is
p r e s e t ) .
Operating fault In the event of a malfunc-
tion of the brightness sen-
sor, the lights come on, this
warning light is displayed on
the instrument panel and/or a message
appears on the multifunction display, ac-
companied by an audible signal.
Consult a CITROËN dealer.
MANUAL HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the halogen
headlamps should be adjusted in rela-
tion to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.
-. Less than 5 people.
1. 5 people.
-. 5 people + maximum authorised load.
2 - 3. Driver + maximum authorised load.

Seat belt not fastened/unfastened
warning light
Fastening
Pull the strap, then insert the tongue
in the buckle.
Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly by pulling the strap.
To lower the attachment point,
squeeze the control A and slide it
downwards.
To raise the attachment point, slide
the control A upwards.
When the ignition is switched
on, this warning light comes on,
either on the instrument panel
or on the seat belt and passen-
ger’s front air bag warning lights display,
if the driver and/or the front passenger
has not fastened his seat belt.
From approximately 12 mph (20 km/h)
t h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s f o r t w o m i n u t e s
accompanied by an audible signal. Once
these two minutes have elapsed, this
warning light remains on until the driver
and/or the front passenger fastens his
seat belt.
Unfastening
Press the red button on the buckle.
Guide the seat belt as it rolls up. SEAT BELTS
Front seat belts
T h e f r o n t s e a t b e l t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a p r e -
tensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the front
seats in the event of a front impact.
Depending on the severity of the
impact, the pretensioning system
instantly tightens the seat belts against
the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active
when the ignition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure
of the seat belt on the chest of the occu-
pant, so increasing his protection.

three-point inertia reel seat belt with
force limiter (with the exception of the
rear centre seat).
Locking
When the rear side side belts are not being
used, you can lock them in place. To do so:
Raise the bracket A to its maximum
height.
Fastening
Pull the strap, then insert the tongue
in the buckle.
Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly by pulling the strap.
Seat belt unfastened warning lights
display
When the ignition is switched on, the cor-
responding warning lights 4 , 5 and 6 come
o n i n r e d f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y 3 0 s e c o n d s , i f
the seat belt is not fastened.
When the engine is running or the vehicle
is moving, the corresponding warning light
4 , 5 or 6 comes on in red, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message on the
multifunction display, if a rear passenger
has unfastened his seat belt.
Unfastening
Press the red button on the buckle.
Guide the seat belt as it rolls up.
The corresponding warning light 2 or 3
comes on in red on the seat belt and
passenger’s front air bag warning lights
display if the seat belt is not fastened or
is unfastened. Seat belt unfastened warning light
This warning light comes on, either
on the instrument panel or on the
seat belt and passenger’s front air
bag warning lights display, when one
or more rear passengers unfasten
their seat belt.
From approximately 12 mph (20 km/h), this
w a r n i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s f o r t w o m i n u t e s a c c o m -
panied by an audible signal of increasing
volume. Once these two minutes have elapsed,
this warning light remains on until the one or
more rear passengers fasten their seat belt.
