PRACTICAL INFORMATION
CHANGING A BULB
1. Sidelamps (W 5 W)
Turn the bulb holder A one quarter
of a turn and remove it.
Remove the bulb and change it.
2. Direction indicators (PY 21 W amber)
Turn the bulb holder B one quarter
of a turn and remove it.
Turn the bulb one quarter of a
turn.
Remove the bulb and change it.
I f y o u e n c o u n t e r a n y d i f fi c u l t i e s ,
contact a CITROËN dealer.
Note: in certain climatic con-
ditions (low temperatures,
humidity), the presence of
condensation on the inter-
nal face of the headlamps is normal ;
it disappears a few minutes after the
lights are switched on.
Never go underneath a
vehicle supported only by a
jack (use an axle stand).
4. Fold the jack 2 and detach it.
5. Tighten the wheel bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
6. R e fi t t h e t r i m .
7. Store the tools and the wheel in
the boot.
T h e j a c k a n d t h e t o o l k i t a r e s p e c i fi c
to your vehicle. Do not use them for
other purposes.
After changing a wheel:
- have the tighteness of the bolts and the pressure of the spare wheel
checked as soon as possible,
- have the punctured wheel r e p a i r e d a n d r e fi t i t o n t h e v e h i c l e
as soon as possible.

Disconnect the connector.
Remove the rubber cap C .
Push the side of the tongue D .
Remove the bulb holder and
change the bulb.
R e fi t t h e b u l b h o l d e r , t h e t o n g u e
then the rubber cap.
I f y o u e n c o u n t e r a n y d i f fi c u l t i e s ,
contact a CITROËN dealer.
Rear lamps

side These 3 bulbs are changed by
removing the lamp unit:
open the boot,
u n s c r e w t h e t w o l a m p u n i t fi x i n g
nuts A ,
remove the lamp unit by pulling
outwards,
unclip the harness,

Disconnect the connector.
Remove the rubber cap C .
Push the side of the tongue D .
Remove the bulb holder and
change the bulb.

remove the lamp unit by pulling
outwards,
unclip the harness,

(Four W 5 W bulbs)
U n s c r e w t h e 2 fi x i n g b o l t s A .
Release the lamp unit by pushing
the two tabs B inwards.
Disconnect the connector and the
rear wash-wipe pipe.
Remove the bulb holder.
Remove the bulb and change it.
W h e n r e fi t t i n g , p r o c e e d i n t h e r e v e r s e
order and ensure that the lamp unit
seal and the rear wash-wipe pipe have
been put back in place correctly.
Do not tighten the bolts more
than is necessary at the risk
of breaking the light.
Number plate lamps (W 5 W)
Pass your hand under the
bumper.
Remove the bulb holder turning it
one quarter of a turn.
Remove the bulb and change it.
remove the bulb holder by
spreading the four tongues B ,
remove the bulb and change it.
Note: w h e n r e fi t t i n g , p r o c e e d i n
the reverse order and take care to
position the bulb holder, the tabs and
the lamp unit correctly.

Push the repeater forwards or
rearwards and detach it by pulling
towards you.
Disconnect the bulb holder and
change it.
CHANGING A FUSE
The fuse boxes are located under the
instrument panel trim and next to the
battery in the engine compartment.
Correct
Removing and fitting a fuse
Before changing a fuse, the cause
of the incident must be found and
r e c t i fi e d .
Use the pliers A located in the
fuse box under the bonnet.
Incorrect
Pliers A Instrument panel fuse boxes
These are located on each side of
the instrument panel under the trim.
Turn the steering wheel to the
left, remove bolt B .
Turn the steering wheel to the
right (do not forget to release the
steering wheel using the key),
remove bolt C .
Always replace a faulty fuse
with a fuse of the same rating
(same colour).
