The RDS function (Radio Data System) is
always activated in the radio navigation
system.
There is an increasing number of radio
stations which broadcast RDS information
together with their programs; this infor-

the station name and radio traffic infor-

At certain times, some stations broadcast
regional programs.
The set will first try to only select alterna-
tive frequencies of the selected station.
The set will, however, accept frequencies
from a sister channel when the quality is
so poor that the program could be "lost".
As these channels broadcast different
programs at certain hours, by changing
frequency you may be listening to a differ-
