■Discs that can be used
Discs with the marks shown below can be used.
Playback may not be possible depending on recording format or disc features, or
due to scratches, dirt or deterioration.
■When appears on the screen
This indicates that the selected operation is not currently available.
■Error messages
DISC CHECK: Indicates that the disc is dirty, damaged or was inserted upside
down. Clean the disc or insert it correctly.
REGION ERROR: Indicates that the DVD region code is incorrect.
DVD ERROR: Indicates that there is a problem inside the player. Eject the disc, then reinsert it. If this problem persists, see your Lexus dealer.
If the malfunction still exists, take the vehicle to your Lexus
dealer.
■Before using the remote control (for new vehicle owners)
An insulating sheet is set to prevent the bat-
teries from being discharged. Remove the
insulating sheet before using the remote con-
trol.

Interior lights list
Illuminated entry system: The various lights automatically turn on/off
according to whether the doors are locked/unlocked, whether the doors
are open/closed, the ignition switch position, and the vehicle’s speed.

■The clock is displayed when

The time display will automatically be set to 1:00.
■Adjust clock
Push and hold the “MODE” button until “ILL” appear on the
display.
Push “MODE” button once . The time will blink.
Adjust hours.
Adjust minutes.
Round the nearest hour.

The system may be malfunctioning. Take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer.
The displayed temperature ranges from -22°F (-30°C) up to 122°F
(50°C).

CAUTION
■To avoid burns or fires
●Do not touch the metal part s of the cigarette lighter.
●Do not hold the cigarette lighter pressed in. It could overheat and cause a fire.
●Do not insert anything other than the cigarette lighter into the outlet.
Push the cover to open, and

Seat heaters
■The seat heaters can be used when
The ignition switch is in the “ON” position.
■When not in use
Turn the dial until the indicator light turns off.
CAUTION
■Burns
●Use caution when seating the following pers ons in a seat with the seat heater on
to avoid the possibility of burns:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the disabled
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs,
cold remedies, etc.)
●Do not cover the seat with anything when using the seat heater.
Using the seat heater with a blanket or cushion increases the temperature of the
seat and may lead to overheating.
