Interior features
Bluetooth® phone connection
There are two connection methods av ailable—automatic and manual.
Press .
Touch on the “Information” screen.
Touch on the “Telephone” screen.
Choose one of the following methods. Automatic connection
If the power switch is in the “ACC”
or “IG-ON” mode, the system will
automatically connect to the 
Bluetooth
® phone. Touching auto-
matic connection will turn it ON/
OFF.
Manual connection
If automatic connection fails or is
turned OFF, connection must be
made manually.
If the message “Bluetooth* con-
nection successful” is displayed,
connection is complete.

■Reconnecting to the Bluetooth® phone
If the system cannot connect due to poor signal strength with the power switch in
the “ACC” or “IG-ON” mode, the system wi ll automatically attempt to reconnect.
If the phone is turned off, the system will not attempt to reconnect. In this case, con-
nection must be made manually, or the phone must be re-selected.

3-7. Other interior features
Test the operation of the HomeLink by pressing the newly pro-
grammed button. Check to see if the gate/device operates cor-
rectly.
Repeat the steps above to program another device for each of
the remaining HomeLink
 buttons.
■ Programming other devices
To program other devices such as home security systems, home door
locks or lighting, contact your au thorized Lexus dealer for assistance.
■ Reprogramming a button
The individual HomeLink
 buttons cannot be erased but can be
reprogrammed. To reprogram a button, follow the “Basic program-
ming” instructions.
Operating the HomeLink
Press the appropriate HomeLink button. The HomeLink indicator
light on the HomeLink transceiver should turn on.
The HomeLink continues to send a signal for up to 20 seconds as long as
the button is pressed.
Erasing the entire HomeLink memory (all three programs)
Press and hold down the 2 outside
buttons for 20 seconds until the
indicator light flashes.
If you sell your vehicle, be sure to
erase the programs stored in the
HomeLink
 memory.

Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs yourself. For more information about
replacing other light bulbs, contact your Lexus dealer.
■Prepare a replacement light bulb.
Check the wattage of the light bulb being replaced. ( P. 494)
■ Remove the engine compartment cover if necessary.

■Bulbs other than the above
If any of the bulbs listed below has burnt out, have your Lexus dealer
replace it.
●Headlight low beams (high-intensity discharge bulbs)
● Fog lights
● Front turn signal lights
● Front side marker lights
● Stop/tail lights
● Tail lights
● Rear side marker lights
● High mounted stoplight
● License plate lights
■Condensation build-up on the inside of the lens
Contact your Lexus dealer for more inform ation in the following situations. Tempo-
rary condensation build-up on the inside of the headlight lens does not indicate a
malfunction.
●Large drops of water are built up on the inside of the lens.
●Water has built up in side the headlight.
■LED light bulbs
The tail, tail/stop and high mounted stopligh ts consist of a number of LEDs. If any
LEDs burn out, take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer to have the light replaced.
If two or more LEDs in a stoplight burn out, your vehicle may not conform to local
laws (SAE).
■High-intensity discharge (HID) headlights
If voltage to the high-intensity discharge bu lbs is insufficient, the light may not come
on, or may go out temporarily. The high-i ntensity discharge bulbs will come on
when normal power is restored.

5-2. Steps to take in an emergency
■If the tire pressure warning system is inoperative
The system will be disabled in the following conditions:
(When the condition becomes normal, the system will work properly.)
●If tires not equipped with tire pressure warning valves and transmitters are used.
●If the ID code on the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters is not regis-
tered in the tire pressure warning computer.
●If the tire inflation pressure is more than 73 psi (500 kPa, 5.1 kgf/cm2 or bar).
The system may be disabled in the following conditions:
(When the condition becomes normal, the system will work properly.)
●If electronic devices or facilities using similar radio wave frequencies are nearby.
●If a radio set at similar frequencies is in use in the vehicle.
●If a window tint that affects the radio wave signals is installed.
●If the tire pressure warning select switch is set to a different tire setting.
●If there is a lot of snow or ice on the vehicle, in particular around the wheels or
wheel housings.
●If non-genuine Lexus wheels are used.
●If tire chains are used.
■If the tire pressure warning light comes on after blinking for 1 minute frequently
If the tire pressure warning light comes on after blinking for 1 minute frequently
when the power switch is turned to “IG-ON” mode, have it checked by your Lexus
dealer.
NOTICE
■Precaution when insta lling a different tire
When a tire of a different specification or maker is installed, the tire pressure warn-
ing system may not operate properly.
