SUNROOF (where provided)
The sunroof is fitted with a safety anti-crushing system able to detect
the presence of an obstacle during the window winding up; should it
happen, the system stops and lowers the window.
The sunroof is fitted with a “skydome” consisting of two glass panels
- one fixed and one moving - with sun visors operated manually in
two positions (open/closed).
The sunroof will only work when the ignition key is at MAR. The
button, next to the front ceiling light, controls opening and closing.
To open
Press and keep button B pressed so that the sunroof front glass panel
reaches the “spoiler” position; press again button (B) and operate it
for more than half a second, so that the sunroof glass reaches the
travel end; the sunroof glass can be stopped in an intermediate
position by operating the button again.
To close
From the complete opening position, press button A and operate it for
more than half a second so that the sunroof front glass panel reaches
the “spoiler” position; operate again the button to stop the sunroof
glass in an intermediate position; press again button A and keep it

WARNING
Always remove the ignition key when you get out of the car to prevent the sunroof
being operated accidentally and constituting a danger to the people left in the car.
The improper use of the sunroof can be dangerous. Before and during its
operation ensure that any passengers are not at risk from the moving roof either
by personal objects getting caught in the mechanism or by being injured by it
directly. Do not open the sunroof if there is snow or ice on it: it could be damaged.
In case of cross roof rack, you are suggested to use the sunroof only in “spoiler” position.
EMERGENCY OPERATION
If the switch does not work, the sunroof can be operated manually as
follows:
❒remove the protective cover between the two sun visors
❒take the provided Allen wrench
❒insert the provided wrench into the seat A and turn it:
– clockwise to open the sunroof
– counter-clockwise to close the sunroof.

POWER WINDOWS
For the 2-button version (only front power
windows) no type of automatism (either opening or
closing) is provided.
For the 4-button version (front and rear power
windows), the driver side is provided with both
opening and closing automatism, whereas the
passenger side is only provided with opening
automatism (where provided also closing
automatism). Rear windows are only provided with
opening automatism.
Power windows with opening and closing (where
provided) automatism are fitted with crush-
prevention seal safety system capable of reversing
the window stroke when an obstacle comes into
contact with glass and seal and therefore capable of
detecting the presence of an obstacle during the
front window closing motion.
IMPORTANT In the event that the anti-crushing
function is activated 5 times in only 1 minute, the
system will automatically enter the “recovery” mode
(self-protection). This conditions is pointed out by
the fact that, in the closing phase, the window goes
up in jerks.
WARNING
The system conforms to Standard 2000/4/CE concerning the safety of passengers
leaning out from the compartment. At the same time, the upper outer gasket is not
equipped with anti-crush protection in order to guarantee protection against
unwanted access from outside the car.So, it is necessary to carry out the system restore
procedure, acting as follows:
❒perform opening control;
or
❒turn the key to STOP and then to MAR.
The logic is restored if no malfunction is present,
the window returns to its normal operation
automatically; otherwise contact a Lancia
Dealership.
IMPORTANT With the ignition key at STOP or
removed, the power windows remain activated for
about 2 minutes and are deactivated immediately
the moment a door is opened.

figure, and then push the tailgate until it clicks into place.
IMPORTANT If option “Independent boot” is on, before closing the
boot check whether you have with you the ignition key since the boot

The addition of objects (speakers, spoilers, etc.) on the rear shelf or boot lid, except those
envisaged by the manufacturer, may prevent the gas filled struts at the sides of the boot from
working properly.
WARNING
WARNING
When using the boot, make sure the loads do not exceed the permitted weight (see
“Technical specifications” chapter). Also make sure the items in the boot are
arranged properly to prevent them being thrown forwards and injuring
passengers should you brake sharply.
Never travel with objects on the rear shelf to prevent them being thrown forwards
and injuring passengers in case of accident or sharp braking.
