1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the headlight bulb cover
by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Disconnect the headlight bulb socket-connector.
4. Unsnap the headlight bulb retain- ing wire by depressing the end
and pushing it upward.
5. Remove the bulb from the head- light assembly.
WARNING
- Halogen bulbs
Halogen bulbs contain pres-surized gas that will produce
flying pieces of glass if broken.
Always handle them carefully, and avoid scratches and abra-
sions. If the bulbs are lit, avoid
contact with liquids. Never
touch the glass with bare
hands. Residual oil may cause
the bulb to overheat and burst
when lit. A bulb should be
operated only when installed
in a headlight.

If a bulb becomes damaged orcracked, replace it immediate-
ly and carefully dispose of it.
Wear eye protection when changing a bulb. Allow the
bulb to cool down before han-
dling it.

3. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing it in and rotating it until
the tabs on the bulb align with the
slots in the socket. Pull the bulb
out of the socket.
4. Insert a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and rotating it until
it locks into place. 5. Install the socket in the housing by
aligning the tabs on the socket
with the slots in the housing. Insert
the socket into the housing and
turn the socket clockwise.

License plate lights bulb
replacement 1. Loosen the lens retaining screwswith a cross-tip screwdriver.
2. Remove the lens.
3. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
4. Install a new bulb.
5. Reinstall the lens securely with the lens retaining screws.
Rear combination light bulb
replacement(1) Stop and tail light
(2) Rear turn signal light
(3) Back-up light
(4) Rear side mark light 1. Open the trunk lid or rear hatch.
2. Remove the service cover by turn-
ing the plastic screw counterclock-
wise and removing the cover.

providers. Should you accidentally run out of fuel, require a
battery jump, or need help changing a tire, a Kia Roadside
Assistance Representative will dispatch someone to deliv-
er a small quantity of gas, change a flat tire with your inflat-
ed spare, or arrange a battery jump to allow you to proceed
to your destination. We have access to a network of over
10,000 locksmiths to help you should you become locked
out of your Kia.
In the event that mechanical difficulty renders your vehicle
undriveable due to a warranty-related concern, Kia’s
Roadside Assistance Representative will arrange to trans-
port your vehicle to the nearest Kia dealer or to an alterna-
tive service location.
Your vehicle must be accessible to our dispatch transport
vehicle, as determined by our driver, to receive this service.
In the event that Kia does not have a dealer or an alterna-
tive service location available in a particular location, Kia
will work with a reputable local service facility to ensure that
you receive prompt service. Warranty repairs are performed
at no cost.
