Turn Signal Indicator Lights
The blinking green arrows on the in- strument panel show the direction indi-cated by the turn signals. If the arrow comes on but does not blink, blinks more rapidly than normal, or does notblink at all, a malfunction in the turn signal system is indicated. Your dealer should be consulted for repairs. ABS Service Reminder Indicator (SRI)(If Installed)
When the key is turned to the "ON" position, the Anti-Lock Brake System SRI will come on and then go off in afew seconds. If the ABS SRI remains on, comes on while driving, or does not come on when the key is turned to the"ON" position, this indicates that there may be a problem with the ABS. If this occurs, have your vehiclechecked by your Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. The normal braking system will still be operational, butwithout the assistance of the anti-lock brake system. WARNING:
If the both ABS SRI and ParkingBrake/ Low Brake fluid level warn- ing lights remain "ON" or come onwhile driving, there may be a prob- lem with E.B.D (Electronic Brake Force Distribution).If this occurs, avoid sudden stops and have your vehicle checked by your Hyundai dealer as soon aspossible. The high beam indicator light comes on whenever the headlights areswitched to the high beam or flash position.

This light illuminates when the ignition switch is set to the "ON" position and goes off after the engine has started. Ifit lights up while the engine is running, it indicates that water has accumu- lated inside the fuel filter. If this hap-pens, remove the water from the fuel filter. (Refer to "Do-lt-Yourself Maintenance")CAUTION(2.9 CRDi only):
When the fuel filter warning light is illuminated, the engine power de-creases. If the fuel filter warning light comes on while driving, park your vehicle in at a safe place andremove the water as soon as pos- sible. If the light remains on after removing the water, have the sys-tem checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer.

B390A01E-AAT Rear Window Wiper and Washer Switch
1. : The rear window wiper starts to operate three times after the washer fluid sprays onto the rear window.
2.OFF
3.INT: The interval between wipes op-
erates every 5 seconds inter-mittently.
4.ON : The rear window wiper starts
to operate continuously.
5. : The washer fluid will be sprayed
onto the rear window and the wiper operates while the rear window wiper barrel is placedin this position.
HHP2108 NOTE: Do not operate the washer continu- ously for more than 15 seconds or when the fluid reservoir is empty;this could damage the system. Do not operate the wiper when the win- dow is dry; this can result in scratch-ing as well as premature wiper blade wear. For the same reason, do not oper-ate the washer when the washer fluid reservoir is empty.
HAZARD WARNING SYS- TEM
B370A01A-AAT The hazard warning system should be used whenever you find it necessary to stop the car in a hazardous location. When you must make such an emer- gency stop, always pull off the road asfar as possible. The hazard warning lights are turned on by pushing in the hazard switch.This causes all turn signal lights to blink. The hazard warning lights will operate even though the key is not inthe ignition. B430A01HP-GAT Front Ashtray The front ashtray may be opened by pushing and releasing the ashtray/ciga- rette lighter door at its top edge.To remove the ashtray in order to clean it, the metal ash receptacle should be removed from the ashtray door. Donot attempt to remove the entire ash- tray door assembly, or damage will result. Instead, lift the metal ash re-ceptacle upward and pull it out. To reinstall it, place it in the proper posi- tion and press it down and forward toreengage the ash receptacle rear lip in the ashtray door. The ashtray light will only illuminate when the exterior bodylights are switched on. HHP2167
B440A01E-AAT Rear Ashtray The rear ashtray may be opened by pulling it out by its top edge. To remove the ashtray to empty or clean it, pressdown on the spring-loaded tab inside the ashtray and lift the ashtray upward and pull it all the way out.

B450A02O-GAT Front Drink Holder The front drink holder is located on the main console for holding cups or cans.
WARNING:
o Use caution when using the drink holders. A spilled beverage thatis very hot can injure you or yourpassengers. Spilled liquids can damage interior trim and electri- cal components.

The higher the number of the switch position, the lower the headlight beamlevel. Always keep the headlight beam at the proper leveling position, or head- lights may dazzle other road users.Listed below are the examples of proper switch settings. For loading conditions other than those listed below, adjustthe switch position so that the beam level may be the nearest as the condi- tion obtained according to the list.
