operate three times after the washer fluid sprays onto therear window.
2.OFF (0)3.INT (---) : The interval between wipes
operates every 5 seconds intermittently.
4.ON (
) : The rear window wiper starts to operate continuously.
5. : The washer fluid will be sprayed onto the rear window and the wiper operates whilst the rear window wiper barrel is placedin this position.
NOTE: Do not operate the washer continu- ously for more than 15 seconds or when the fluid reservoir is empty; this could damage the system. Donot operate the wiper when the win- dow is dry; this can result in scratch- ing as well as premature wiper bladewear. For the reason stated above,do not operate the washer when the washerfluid reservoir is empty.

To turn on the front fog lights, push the switch. They will light when the head- light switch is in the second position and the ignition key is in the "ON"position.
With the switch in this position, the interval between wipes can be varied from approximately 2 to 10 seconds byturning the interval adjuster barrel.

ZC170E1-E Windscreen Washers & Wipers The windscreen washer bottle should be filled with a solution of water and aproprietary winter screen wash addi- tive. The windscreen wipers should not be used if the blades are frozen to thewindscreen or if they are covered with snow, before this is removed. NOTE: Never allow undiluted screen washer fluid additive to spill upon the paintwork or use engine coolant anti-freeze since damage to the paintwork may result.
o When driving in extreme conditions,the windscreen wiper blades may fail to clear the screen properly due tothe formation of ice upon the blade edge. It will therefore be necessary to periodically remove such ice torestore their efficiency.
o If the power operated door mirrors
become frozen, attempts to adjustthese may damage the mechanism. o The formation of snow or ice build up
inside the wheel arches may inter-fere with the roadwheels or steering mechanism. In such instances, un- usual noises or an increase in steer-ing effort may result. Therefore, en- sure that the wheelarches are checked periodically and any accu-mulated snow or ice removed.
o It is advisable to carry emergency
equipment including, torch, shovel,tow rope, blankets etc., if a journey is to be undertaken into areas of severe road conditions.TRAILER OR VEHICLE TOWING

WARNING:
o Performing maintenance work on a vehicle can be dangerous. You can be seriously injured whilst performing some maintenanceprocedures. If you lack sufficient knowledge and experience or the proper tools and equipment to dothe work, have it done by Hyundai authorised repairer.
o Working under the bonnet with the engine running is dangerous. It becomes even more dangerouswhen you wear jewellery or loose clothing. These can become en- tangled in moving parts and re-sult in injury. Therefore, if you must run the engine whilst work- ing under the bonnet, make cer-tain that you remove all jewellery (especially rings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces) and allneckties, scarves, and similar loose clothing before getting near the engine or cooling fans.

SG080A3-EWINDSCREEN WIPER BLADES
The wiper blades should be carefully inspected from time to time and cleaned to remove accumulations ofroad film or other debris. To clean the wiper blades and arms, use a clean sponge or cloth with a mild soap ordetergent and water. If the wipers continue to streak or smear the glass, replace them with genuine Hyundaireplacement. NOTE: It is also important to ensure that the windscreen is regularly cleaned/ degreased using a proprietary glasscleaner. CAUTION:
o Do not operate the wipers on dry glass since rapid wear anddamage to the windscreen glassmay result.
o Keep the blade rubber out of contact with petroleum products such as engine oil, petrol etc.
o When the wiper blade is freezed in winter or the washer fluidreservoir is empty, the wiper may not operate for ten minutes.This isn't a mechanical troublebut the function protecting thewiper by operating circuit breaker inside of the wiper mo- tor.G080B01GK-GAT

available should be checked on a daily basis. The level of fluid will bevisible through the side of the reser- voir. When the fluid is to be replen- ished, only a proprietary screen washadditive should be used and in the concentration recommended by the manufacturer. The windscreen washerreservoir has a total capacity of 3 litres. CAUTION:
Engine coolant anti freeze mustnot be used in the windscreen washer system since damage tothe paintwork may result.Undiluted windscreen washer ad-ditive must not be allowed to come into contact with the paintwork. If spillage occurs, flush the affectedarea immediately with water. Do not operate the windscreen washer for more than 15 seconds continu-ously or when the reservoir is empty since damage to the washer pump will result.
