The player will be able to read and play a
maximum of 50 folders, 50 playlists, 10 sessions,
and 255 les. Long le names, folder names,
or playlist names may use more disc memory
space than necessary. To conserve space on the
disc, minimize the length of the le, folder or
playlist name. You can also play an MP3 CD that
was recorded using no le folders. The system
can support up to 11 folders in depth, though, keep
the depth of the folders to a minimum in order
to keep down the complexity and confusion
in trying to locate a particular folder during
playback. If a CD contains more than the
maximum of 50 folders, 50 playlists, 10 sessions,
and 255 les the player will let you access and
navigate up to the maximum, but all items over the
maximum will be ignored.
Root Directory
The root directory will be treated as a folder. If the
root directory has compressed audio les, the
directory will be displayed as F1 ROOT. All les
contained directly under the root directory will
be accessed prior to any root directory folders.
However, playlists (Px) will always be accessed
before root folders or les.
Empty Directory or Folder
If a root directory or a folder exists somewhere
in the le structure that contains only folders/
subfolders and no compressed les directly
beneath them, the player will advance to the
next folder in the le structure that contains
compressed audio les and the empty folder will
not be displayed or numbered.
No Folder
When the CD contains only compressed les, the
les will be located under the root folder. The
next and previous folder functions will have
no function on a CD that was recorded without
folders or playlists. When displaying the name of
the folder the radio will display ROOT.
When the CD contains only playlists and
compressed audio les, but no folders, all les will
be located under the root folder. The folder down
and the folder up buttons will search playlists (Px)
rst and then go to the root folder. When the radio
displays the name of the folder the radio will
display ROOT.

BAND:Press this button to switch between
FM1, FM2, AM, or XM1 or XM2 (if equipped).
1–6 (Preset Pushbuttons):Press this button to
play stations that are programmed on the
radio preset pushbuttons. The radio will only seek
preset stations with a strong signal that are in
the selected band.
When a CD is playing in the six-disc CD changer,
press this button to go to the next available
CD, if multiple CDs are loaded.
+/−
x(Volume):Press the plus or minus button
to increase or to decrease the volume.
Radio Reception
You may experience frequency interference and
static during normal radio reception if items
such as cellphone chargers, vehicle convenience
accessories, and external electronic devices
are plugged into the accessory power outlet.
If there is interference or static, unplug the item
from the accessory power outlet.
AM
The range for most AM stations is greater than for
FM, especially at night. The longer range can
cause station frequencies to interfere with each
other. For better radio reception, most AM
radio stations will boost the power levels during
the day, and then reduce these levels during
the night. Static can also occur when things like
storms and power lines interfere with radio
reception. When this happens, try reducing the
treble on your radio.

Tire Pressure Monitor System
The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) uses
radio and sensor technology to check tire pressure
levels. TPMS sensors are mounted onto each
tire and wheel assembly, except for the spare tire.
The TPMS sensors monitor the air pressure in
your vehicle’s tires and transmit tire pressure
readings to a receiver located in the vehicle.
When a low tire pressure condition is detected,
the TPMS illuminates the low tire pressure
warning light, located in the instrument panel
cluster. If your vehicle has the uplevel Driver
Information Center (DIC), a warning message to
check the pressure in a specic tire displays at
the same time the low tire pressure warning light
comes on. The low tire pressure warning light
and the DIC warning message CHECK TIRE
PRESSURE come on at each ignition cycle
until the tires are inated to the correct
ination pressure. Vehicles that have the
uplevel DIC buttons can also check tire
pressure levels by pressing the gages button.For additional information and details about the

During cooler weather conditions, the low tire
pressure warning light and the DIC warning
message, if your vehicle has this feature, may
come on when the vehicle is rst started, and then
turn off as you start to drive. This could be an
early indicator that the air pressure in the tire(s)
are getting low and need to be inated to the
proper pressure.
Each tire, including the spare (if provided), should
be checked monthly when cold and inated
to the ination pressure recommended by the
vehicle manufacturer on the vehicle placard or tire
ination pressure label. (If your vehicle has tires
of a different size than the size indicated on
the vehicle placard or tire ination pressure label,
you should determine the proper tire ination
pressure for those tires.)

TPMS Sensor Identication Codes
Each TPMS sensor has a unique identication
code. Any time you replace one or more of
the TPMS sensors or rotate the vehicle’s tires, the
identication codes need to be matched to the
new tire/wheel position. The sensors are matched,
to the tire/wheel positions, in the following order:
driver side front tire, passenger side front tire,
passenger side rear tire, and driver side rear tire
using a TPMS diagnostic tool. See your dealer
for service.
The TPMS sensors may also be matched to each
tire/wheel position by increasing or decreasing
the tire’s air pressure. When increasing the tire’s
pressure, do not exceed the maximum ination
pressure indicated on the tire’s sidewall.
You have two minutes to match each tire and
wheel position. If it takes longer than two minutes
to match any tire and wheel position, the
matching process stops and you need to
start over.The TPMS matching process is outlined below:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN with the
engine off.
3. Press the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter’s LOCK and UNLOCK buttons
at the same time for approximately
ve seconds. The horn sounds twice to
signal the receiver is in relearn mode and the
TPMS sensor matching process can begin.
4. Start with the driver side front tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from the tire’s valve
stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing
or decreasing the tire’s air pressure for
10 seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds.
The horn chirp, which may take up to
30 seconds to sound, conrms that the sensor
identication code has been matched to the
tire/wheel position. To decrease the tire’s
air-pressure use the pointed end of the valve
cap, a pencil-style air pressure gage, or a key.

Many cleaners contain solvents that may become
concentrated in your vehicle’s breathing space.
Before using cleaners, read and adhere to
all safety instructions on the label. While cleaning
your vehicle’s interior, maintain adequate
ventilation by opening your vehicle’s doors and
windows.
Dust may be removed from small buttons and
knobs using a small brush with soft bristles.
Your dealer has a product for cleaning your
vehicle’s glass. Should it become necessary, you
can also obtain a product from your dealer to
remove odors from your vehicle’s upholstery.
Do not clean your vehicle using the following
cleaners or techniques:
Never use a knife or any other sharp object to
remove a soil from any interior surface.
Never use a stiff brush. It can cause damage
to your vehicle’s interior surfaces.
Never apply heavy pressure or rub
aggressively with a cleaning cloth. Use of
heavy pressure can damage your interior and
does not improve the effectiveness of soil
removal.
Use only mild, neutral-pH soaps. Avoid
laundry detergents or dishwashing soaps with
degreasers. Using too much soap will leave
a residue that leaves streaks and attracts dirt.
For liquid cleaners, about 20 drops per
gallon (3.78 L) of water is a good guide.
Do not heavily saturate your upholstery while
cleaning.
Damage to your vehicle’s interior may result
from the use of many organic solvents such
as naptha, alcohol, etc.
