This indicator normally comes on for
a few seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. Itcomesonasareminderthatyou
have
turned off the vehicle
stability assist (VSA) system.
It flashes when VSA is active (see
page ).
Ifitcomesonandstaysonatany
other
time, or it does not come on
wh en you turn the ignition switch to
the ON (II) position, there is a
problem with the VSA system. You
will also see a ‘‘CHECK VSA
SYSTEM’’ message on the multi-
info rmation display (see page ).
Take your vehicle to a dealer to have
it checked. Without VSA, your
vehicle still has normal driving ability,
but will not have VSA traction and
stability enhancement. For more
info rmation, see page .
This indicator may also come on if
there is a problem with the trailer
stability assist function (see page
). This
indicator has four functions.
It flashes when trailer stability
assist is activating (see page ).
It comes on along with the VSA
system indicator if there is a
problem with the VSA system.
You will also see a ‘‘CHECK VSA
SYSTEM’’ message and a
‘‘CHECK TRAILER STABILITY
ASSIST’’ message on the multi-
info rmation display (see page ).
This indicator normally comes on for
a few seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

The left or right turn signal indicator
blinks when you signal a lane change
or turn. If the indicator does not
blink or blinks rapidly, it usually
means one of the turn signal bulbs is
burned out (see page ). Replace
the bulb as soon as possible, since
other drivers cannot see that you are
signaling.
When you press the hazard warning
button, both turn signals blink. All
turn signals on the outside of the
vehicle should f lash.

This indicator monitors the
temperature of the automatic
transmission fluid. It should come on
for a few seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. If it comes on while driving,
it means the transmission fluid
temperature is too high. Pull to the
side of the road when it is safe, shift
to Park, and let the engine idle until
the indicator goes out.
You will also see an ‘‘A/T TEMP
HI GH’’ message on the multi-
info rmation display (see page ).Most
of the time, this indicator
comes on along with other indicators
in the instrument panel such as the
seat belt reminder indicator, SRS
indicator, VSA system indicator, etc.
This
indicator normally comes on for
a few seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position.
If it comes on while driving, it
indicates that one or more of your
vehicl e’s tires are extremely low on
pressure.
You will also see a ‘‘CHECK TIRE
PRESSURE’’ message on the multi-
info rmation display (see page ).
If this happens, pull to the side of the
ro ad when it is safe, check which tire
has lost pressure on the multi-
info rmation display, and determine
the cause. If it is because of a flat tire,
have the flat tire repaired as soon as
possible. If two or more tires are
underinflated, call a professional
towing service. For more
info rmation, see page . This
indicator comes on when there
is a system message on the multi-
information display. Press the INFO
button on the steering wheel (see
page ) to see the message (see
page ).

multi -information display in the
instrument panel displays various
inform ation and messages when the
ignition switch is in the ON (II)
position. Some of the messages help
you operate your vehicle more
comfortably.
Others help to keep you aware of the
periodic maintenance your vehicle
needs for continued trouble-free
driving.
When you open the driver’s door, a
‘‘Welcome’’ message is shown on the
multi-info rmation display. When you
turn the ignition switch from the ON
(II) position to the ACCESSORY (I)
position, a ‘‘Goodbye’’ message is
shownonthedisplay. To
change the display, press the
INFO( / )buttononthesteering
wheel repeatedly until the main
menu appears (see page ). With
the ignition switch in the ON
(II) position, the multi -information
display changes as shown in the next
page each time you press the INFO
( / ) button or SEL/RESET
button.

This shows the estimated distance
you can travel on the fuel rema ining
in the fuel tank. This distan ce is
estimated from the fuel economy
you received over the last several
miles(U.S.) or kilometers (Canada),
so it will vary with changes in speed,
traffic, etc.
This
shows your vehicle’s average
fuel economy in mpg (U.S. model s)
or liter/100 km (Canadian models)
since you last reset the Trip A or
Trip B.
You can customize the Trip A and
AVERAGE FUEL A reset condition
in the multi-information display (see
page ).
This shows the average speed you
are traveling in miles per hour (mph)
forU.S.modelsorkilometersper
hour (km/h) for Can adian models.
To reset the AVERAGE SPEED you
have traveled, press and hold the
SEL/RESET button until the
number resets. This
shows the time passed traveled
since you last reset it. When you turn
the ignition switch to the ON (II)
pos ition, ELAPSED TIME is reset.
If you want to reset the ELAPSED
TIME manually, go to the trip
computer’s ELAPSED TIME display,

When the main menu displays
‘‘Keyless Memory Settings ,’’ you
can customize some vehicle control
settings.
To enter the customizing mode,
press the SEL/RESET button. If
you turn the ignition switch to the
ACCESSORY (I) or the LOCK (0)
position, or move the shift lever out
of Park, the display will change to
the normal screen.
You can customize some vehicle
control settings for ‘‘DRIVER 1’’ and
‘‘DRIVER 2’’ separate ly. If ‘‘DRIVER
1’’ or ‘‘DRIVER 2’’ is not displayed,
cu stomizing is not possible.
To have the driver’s ID detected,
make sure your remote transmitter
is linked to the system (see Keyless
Memory Settings on page ).If
you want the settings as they were
when the vehicle left the factory,
select DEFAULT ALL, as described
on page .
Ref er to the table on the f ollowing
pages about the settings you want to
customize. If you want to change any vehicle
control settings, select CHG
