Selection of the language
Once the "Selection of the language"
menu has been selected, you gain
a c c e s s t o t h e f o l l o w i n g p a r a m e t e r s :
- s e l e c t i o n o f t h e d i s p l a y , information and voice commands
language (Français, English,
I t a l i a n o , P o r t u g u e s , E s p a n o l ,
Deutsch, Nederlands).

O n c e t h e " D i s p l a y c o n i g u r a t i o n "
menu has been selected, you gain
a c c e s s t o t h e f o l l o w i n g p a r a m e t e r s :
- s e l e c t i o n o f t h e p a l e t t e o f c o l o u r s a v a i l a b l e f o r t h e d i s p l a y ,
- s e t t i n g o f t h e b r i g h t n e s s a n d b r i l l i a n c e o f t h e d i s p l a y ,
- s e t t i n g o f t h e d a t e a n d t i m e ( 1 2 o r 2 4 h o u r m o d e , a d j u s t m e n t o f t h e
minutes on GPS),
- s e l e c t i o n o f t h e u n i t s ( t e m p e r a t u r e i n ° C e l s i u s o r ° F a h r e n h e i t ;
c o n s u m p t i o n i n l / 1 0 0 k m o r m p g
or km/l).
Sounds
Once the "Sounds" menu has been
selected, you gain access to the
f o l l o w i n g p a r a m e t e r s :
- s e t t i n g o f t h e v o i c e c o m m a n d s ,
- s e t t i n g o f t h e v o i c e s y n t h e s i s e r (volume of the instructions
and other messages, male or
female),
- a c t i v a t i o n o f t h e a u x i l i a r y i n p u t AUX. D e i n e t h e v e h i c l e p a r a m e t e r s
O n c e t h e " D e i n e t h e v e h i c l e p a r a m -
eters" menu has been selected, you
can activate or deactivate certain
d r i v i n g a n d c o m f o r t e q u i p m e n t :
- p a r k i n g a s s i s t a n c e ( r e f e r t o t h e
"Driving" section),
- w i p e r l i n k e d w i t h r e v e r s e g e a r (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- " f o l l o w - m e - h o m e " l i g h t i n g a n d duration (refer to the "Visibility"
section).
"Configuration" menu
Press the "MENU" button on the
R T 4 G P S a u d i o / t e l e p h o n e t o g a i n
access to the general menu .
Turn the dial to select the
" C o n i g u r a t i o n " menu, then
p r e s s i t t o c o n i r m .
Once this menu has been selected,
y o u c a n g a i n a c c e s s t o t h e f o l l o w i n g

2Press the MENU button then select the CONFIGURATION
function,
then SOUNDS, then ACTIVATE AUXILIARY SOURCE to acti vate
the auxiliary input of the RT4 GPS audio/telephone.
Connect the portable equipment (MP3
p l a y e r … ) t o t h e a u d i o s o c k e t s ( w h i t e a n d
r e d , R C A t y p e ) l o c a t e d i n t h e g l o v e b o x
using a JACK/RCA audio cable.
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select AUX. Insert one or more CDs in the
changer.
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select CD
CHANGER.
Press one of the buttons on the
alphanumeric keypad to select the
corresponding CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a
track on the CD.
The displaying and management of the commands takes place via
the portable equipment.
