R e m o v e t h e t r i m , u s i n g t h e
w h e e l b r a c e 1 , p u l l i n g a t t h e v a l v e
p a s s a g e h o l e .
L o o s e n t h e w h e e l b o l t s ( f o r v e h i -
c l e s i t t e d w i t h a l l o y w h e e l s , r e -
m o v e t h e c h r o m e t r i m s i r s t . S e e
p a r a g r a p h o n " S p e c i a l f e a t u r e s o f
a l l o y w h e e l s " ) .
P l a c e t h e j a c k 2 i n c o n t a c t w i t h
o n e o f t h e f o u r l o c a t i n g p o i n t s A
o n t h e s u b - f r a m e , t h e o n e w h i c h
i s c l o s e s t t o t h e w h e e l t o b e
changed.
E x t e n d t h e j a c k 2 until its base
i s i n c o n t a c t w i t h t h e g r o u n d . E n -
sure that the centre line of the
b a s e o f t h e j a c k i s d i r e c t l y b e l o w
t h e l o c a t i n g p o i n t A used. Fitting a wheel
P o s i t i o n t h e w h e e l u s i n g t h e
centralising tool 3 to assist you.
Tighten the bolts by hand and
remove the centralising tool.
Partly tighten the bolts using the
w h e e l b r a c e 1 .
F o l d t h e j a c k 2 and remove it.
Fully tighten the bolts using the
w h e e l b r a c e 1 .
R e p l a c e t h e w h e e l t r i m , s t a r t i n g
b y p l a c i n g t h e w h e e l t r i m n o t c h
o p p o s i t e t h e v a l v e , a n d p r e s s i t
o n u s i n g t h e p a l m o f t h e h a n d .
Raise the vehicle.
U n s c r e w t h e b o l t s a n d r e m o v e
t h e w h e e l .
U n s c r e w t h e y e l l o w c e n t r a l b o l t a
q u a r t e r t u r n .
R a i s e t h e s p a r e w h e e l t o w a r d s
you from the rear.
R e m o v e t h e w h e e l f r o m t h e
boot.

Putting the wheel back in
place
P u t t h e w h e e l b a c k i n p l a c e .
U n s c r e w t h e y e l l o w c e n t r a l b o l t a
f e w t u r n s , t h e n p u t i t i n p l a c e i n
t h e c e n t r e o f t h e w h e e l .
Tighten the central bolt fully until it
c l i c k s t o s e c u r e t h e w h e e l i r m l y .
Put the tool holder back in the
c e n t r e o f t h e w h e e l a n d c l i p i t .

- h a v e t h e p u n c t u r e d t y r e r e p a i r e d a n d r e i t i t t o t h e v e -
h i c l e a s s o o n a s p o s s i b l e .

- c h e c k t h e i n l a t i o n p r e s s u r e indicated on the label.

change the wheel:

g r o u n d ,
- w i t h t h e h a n d b r a k e o n a n d t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h e d o f f ,
- w i t h i r s t o r r e v e r s e g e a r e n g a g e d ( p o s i t i o n P for the
a u t o m a t i c g e a r b o x ) ,
- w i t h t h e v e h i c l e c h o c k e d .
Never go underneath a vehi-
cle that is supported only by
a jack (use a ramp).
