I f t h e s e a t b e l t i s u n f a s t e n e d :
- b e l o w 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) , t h e l i g h t comes on constantly, - a b o v e 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) a n d f o r
t w o m i n u t e s , t h e l i g h t l a s h e s a c -

of increasing volume. Once these
t w o m i n u t e s h a v e e l a p s e d , t h e
light remains on until the driver

t h a t r e q u i r e d b y t h e d r i v e r , t h e E S P
s y s t e m a u t o m a t i c a l l y a c t s o n t h e e n -
gine and the brake of one or more
w h e e l s , i n o r d e r t o p u t t h e v e h i c l e
b a c k o n c o u r s e , w i t h i n t h e l i m i t s o f
t h e l a w s o f p h y s i c s . I n e x c e p t i o n a l c o n d i t i o n s ( s t a r t i n g a
