Vérifier la portée de soupape, le
siège de soupape et la largeur du
siège de soupape.
Etapes du contrôle:
Verser du solvant de nettoyage 1
dans les lumières d’admission et
d’échappement.
Contrôler soigneusement les joints
de soupapes.
Il ne peut y avoir aucune fuite au
siège de soupape 2.
3. Déposer:
Clavette de soupape
N.B.:
Fixer un compresseur de ressort de sou-
pape 1 entre la coupelle de ressort de
soupape et la culasse pour déposer les
clavettes de soupape.

Apply Mechanic’s blueing dye

Install the valve into the cylinder
head.
Press the valve through the
valve guide and onto the valve
seat to make a clear pattern.
Measure the valve seat width.
Where the valve seat and valve
face made contact, blueing will
have been removed.
If the valve seat is too wide, too
narrow, or the seat is not cen-
tered, the valve seat must be
refaced.
5. Mesurer:
Faux-rond (queue de soupape)
Hors spécifications → Rempla-
cer.
N.B.:
En cas de pose d’une soupape neuve,
toujours remplacer le guide de sou-
pape.
Si la soupape est déposée ou rempla-
cée, toujours remplacer la bague
d’étanchéité.

Appliquer du bleu de mécanicien
(Dykem) b sur la portée de la sou-
pape.
Reposer la soupape dans la culasse.
Enfoncer la soupape dans le guide
et l’appuyer contre le siège de sou-
pape pour laisser une empreinte
nette.
Mesurer la largeur du siège de sou-
pape. Le bleu disparaîtra au point
de contact entre le siège et la por-
tée de soupape.
Si le siège de soupape est trop
large, trop étroit, ou n’est pas cen-
tré, il doit être rectifié.
