Yamaha Engine Management
System (YEMS)
This model is equipped with an inte-
grated, computerized management system
that controls and adjusts ignition timing, fuel
injection, engine diagnostics, and the Off-
Throttle Steering (OTS) system.

Yamaha Security System/
Low-RPM mode (for VX110
Deluxe)
This watercraft is equipped with a remote
control transmitter 1 that is used to select
the security system and low-RPM mode set-
tings. Since the watercraft is programmed to
recognize the internal code from this trans-
mitter only, the security system setting can
only be changed with this transmitter. If you
lose the remote control transmitter or it does
not operate properly, contact a Yamaha
dealer.

Yamaha Security System (for
VX110 Deluxe)
The Yamaha Security System functions to
help prevent unauthorized use or theft of the
watercraft. The engine cannot be started if
the security system is in the lock mode. The
engine can only be started in the unlock
mode.

Fuel and oil
This watercraft is equipped with a
4-stroke engine. Conventional 2-stroke
engine oil cannot be used.
The engine utilizes an electronic fuel
injection system to deliver the optimal air-
fuel mixture ratio required by the engine.
With optimal combustion conditions, this
system is able to increase startability and
improve fuel economy.

Gasoline
WARNING@ GASOLINE AND ITS VAPORS ARE
HIGHLY FLAMMABLE AND EXPLOSIVE!
Do not smoke when refueling, and
keep away from sparks, flames, or
other sources of ignition.
Stop engine before refueling.
Refuel in a well-ventilated area with
the watercraft in a horizontal position.
Do not stand or sit on the watercraft
while refueling in case of fire.
Take care not to spill gasoline. If gaso-
line spills, wipe it up immediately with
dry rags. Always properly dispose of
gasoline-soaked rags.
Avoid overfilling the fuel tank. Stop fill-
ing when the fuel level reaches approx-
imately 50 mm (2 in) from the top of the
fuel tank. Fuel expands as it warms up
and could overflow if the fuel tank has
been overfilled. If temporarily leaving
the watercraft with a full fuel tank, do
not leave it in direct sunlight. Leave it
in a well-ventilated area with the water-
craft in a horizontal position.
