Speedometer unit
The speedometer unit is equipped with the follow-
ing:

a speedometer (which shows the riding speed)


an odometer (which shows the total distance
traveled)


two tripmeters (which show the distance trav-
eled since they were last set to zero)


a clock


an hour meter (which shows the total time the
key has been turned to “ON”)
Odometer and tripmeter modes
Pushing the “TRIP/ODO” button switches the dis-
play between the odometer mode “ODO” and the
tripmeter modes “A” and “B” in the following order:
ODO
→TRIP A
→TRIP B
→ODO

To reset a tripmeter, select it by pushing the
“TRIP/ODO” button, and then push the
“TRIP/ODO” button for at least three seconds. The
tripmeters can be used to estimate the distance
that can be traveled with a full tank of fuel. This in-
formation will enable you to plan future fuel stops.NOTE:_ Holding in the “TRIP/ODO” button and then turning
the key to “ON” switches the display between
“mph” and “km/h”. _Clock mode
Pushing the “”/“” button switches the dis-
play between the clock mode “CLOCK” and the
hour meter mode “HOUR” in the following order:
CLOCK
→HOUR
→CLOCK

Pour remettre un totalisateur journalier à zéro, le sélec-
tionner en appuyant sur le bouton “TRIP/ODO”, puis ap-
puyer sur le bouton “TRIP/ODO” pendant au moins trois
secondes. Utiliser les totalisateurs journaliers pour esti-
mer la distance qu’il est possible de parcourir avec un
plein de carburant. Cette information permet de planifier
les arrêts pour ravitaillement en carburant.N.B.:_ Maintenir le bouton “TRIP/ODO” enfoncé, puis tourner
la clé de contact à la position “ON” pour modifier l’affi-
chage de l’unité de vitesse (“mph” ou “km/h”). _Montre
Appuyer sur le bouton “”/“” pour alterner l’affi-
chage de la montre “CLOCK” et du compteur horaire
“HOUR” comme suit:
CLOCK→HOUR→CLOCK
Para reponer el cuentakilómetros parcial a cero, se-
lecciónelo pulsando el botón “TRIP/ODO” y seguida-
mente pulse el botón “TRIP/ODO” durante al menos
tres segundos. Los cuentakilómetros parciales pue-

3. Remove the headlight bulb holder assembly
by turning it counterclockwise.NOTE:_ The headlight bulb cannot be removed from the
headlight bulb holder. To replace the headlight
bulb, replace the headlight bulb holder assembly. _
WARNING
_ A headlight bulb is hot when it is on and imme-
diately after it is turned off. Wait for the bulb to
cool before touching or removing it. You can
be burned or a fire could start if the bulb touch-
es something flammable. _4. Install a new headlight bulb holder assembly
by inserting it and turning it clockwise.CAUTION:_ Do not touch the glass part of the headlight
bulb to keep it free from oil, otherwise the
transparency of the glass, the luminosity of the
bulb, and the bulb life will be adversely affect-
ed. Thoroughly clean off any dirt and finger-
prints on the headlight bulb using a cloth
moistened with alcohol or thinner. _

ing it inward and turning it clockwise.
5. Install the bulb holder (together with the bulb)
by turning it clockwise.
6. Install the washers, and then install the nuts.
