Brief introduction
Current road traffic is more and more
demanding on a driver's attention.
Modern car radios offer extensive and
sophisticated functions, offering both fun and
various traffic information.
You should only operate the radio and its
features when the traffic situation allows you to
do so.
For example: changing the discs, reading the
booklets etc. when driving has resulted in
many critical situations.Always set the volume at a level which does not
prevent you from hearing outside sounds.
Always concentrate primarily on driving!
If you are uncertain about some functions of
the radio, or if unexpected behaviour appears,
always consult the manual after stopping the
car at a safe location, or please do not hesilate
to contact your Škoda Service Partner or
importeur.Note: the texts marked with * are applicable
only to selected car models, or to cars with
extra (optional) equipment.

: Your radio has no regulation of the
output level set at the external device. Please
remember that the highest playback quality
can be reached by setting a proper
combination of input sensitivity (see above)
and output level of the external signal source
usually by means of volume regulators. You
can find more information about settings
especially in the instruction manuals of such
devices.
Try to set the highest possible output level of
the connected device. Lower this level in case
of experiencing sound degradation or
distortion. This degradation does not mean a
failure of your device and may be prevented by
proper setting.
The quality of the reproduced signal depends
also on the recording.12
