SB040B1-F Locking, Unlocking Front Doors With Key
o The door can be locked or unlockedwith a key.
o Lock the door by turning the key
toward the froant of the vehicle and unlock it by turning the key toward the rear. B040C01FC-EAT Locking From The Outside The doors can be locked without a key. To lock the doors from the outside, first push the inside lock switch to the "LOCK" position, so that the red markon the switch is not visible, then close the door. The door will not lock if the key is left inthe ignition switch when the front doors are closed. This is normal. (Not all models) NOTE:
o When locking the door this way,
be careful not to lock the door with the ignition key left in the vehicle.
o To reduce the possibility of theft, always remove the ignition key,close all windows, and lock alldoors and tail gate when leaving your vehicle unattended.

2. Remove the old battery from the
case and note the polarity. Make sure the polarity of the new battery is the same(+side facing down), then insert it in the transmitter.

SB060A1-E DOOR WINDOWS The front door windows may be opened or closed by turning the window regula- tor handle. Ensure that when the win- dows are closed, nothing may becometrapped between the glass and the door frame.

When opening or closing the win- dows, make sure your passenger's arms and hands are safety out of the way. B060A02E-EAT POWER WINDOWS (Not all models) The power windows operate when the ignition key is in the "ON" position. The
main switches are located on the driver's armrest and control the front and rearwindows on both sides of the vehicle. The windows may be opened by de- pressing the appropriate window switchand closed by pulling up the switch. To open the window on the driver's side, press the switch(1) down. The windowmoves as long as the switch is oper- ated.

WARNING:
Front seat adjustments must not be undertaken whilst the vehicle is inmotion. Loss of control of the ve- hicle may result if seat adjustments are made whilst the vehicle is inmotion.
In order to prevent operation of the passenger front and rear windows, a window lock switch is provided on thearmrest of the driver's door. To disable the power windows, press the window lock switch.To return to normal operation, press the window lock switch a second time. Auto-Down Window (Driver's Side) The Auto-Down window is moved to its fwitch. To stop at the desired loction, the switch must be pulled up. WARNING:
1) Be careful that someone's head, hands or body are not trapped by a closing window.
2) Never try to operate the main
switch on the driver's door and theindividual door window switch in opposing directions at the sametime. If this is done, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.
3) Do not leave children alone in the car. Always remove the ignitionkey for their safety.

1. :The washer fluid will be
sprayed onto the rear window and the wiper operates whilst the rear window wiper barrel isplaced in this position.
2.OFF
3.INT :To use the intermittent wiper
feature, place the rear window wiper barrel in the "INT" posi- tion.
4.ON :When the point indicates "ON",
the rear window wiper oper-ates continuously. SB240A1-EThe hazard warning system should be used whenever it becomes necessaryto stop the car in a hazardous location. The hazard warning system is operated by depressing the switch at which timeall turn signal lights will flash simulta- neously and the turn signal warning lights located within the instrument clus-ter will flash simultaneously. The hazard warning system may be turned off by depressing the switchagain.
HEATED REAR WINDOW
SB250A1-E To operate the heated rear window de- press the switch shown. The heatedrear window will automatically turn off after 20 minutes or when the ignition is turned off.The system may be turned off manually by depressing the switch again.

CAUTION:
The inside of the rear windscreenshould never be cleaned with a hard or sharp implement since damage to the heating element may occur. Theglass should only be cleaned with a soft cloth or chamois leather with the use only of a mild detergent or pro-prietary glass cleaner where neces- sary. Only horizontal movement of the cloth should be made when clean-ing the glass and care should be exercised to ensure that the heating elements are not damaged by ringsor jewellery whilst the glass is being cleaned. It isa convex mirror with a curved sur- face, any objects seen in this mirrorare closer than they appear. B510D01HP-EATOUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HEATER (Not all models) The outside rearview mirror heater is actuated in connection with the rear window defroster. To heat the outside rearview mirror glass, push in the switchfor the rear window defroster. The rear- view mirror glass will be heated for defrosting or defogging and will giveyou improved rear vision in inclement weather conditions. Push the switch again to turn the heater off. The outsiderearview mirror heater automatically turns itself off after 20 minutes.

SB370A1-E INTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRROR The interior mirror is of the day/night type to enable the glare of headlights from following vehicles to be eliminated during night time driving.The tab located at the bottom of the mirror should be set to the position nearest the windscreen for normal daytime driving, and flipped towards the rear of the vehicle to eliminate glare during night time driving. To adjust thefield of vision, the mirror may be moved by hand upon the mounting. NOTE: The mirror should always be ad- justed prior to setting the vehicle in motion. HXDFL2112

B570A01FC-EAT Pull the release lever inside the vehicle to unlatch the bonnet. At the front of the vehicle, push the safety catch lever sidewards as shown and raise the bon-net by hand. Support the bonnet by means of the bonnet prop. Before closing the bonnet, ensure thatthe prop is correctly stowed. Lower the bonnet by hand to a position of approxi- mately 30cm from the closed positionand allow the bonnet to drop. Do not attempt to close the bonnet by lowering the panel to the closed position andpressing upon the panel work since this may result in damage to the panel.BONNET RELEASE
