You can adjust the height of the shoul-der belt anchor to one of the 4 positionsfor maximum comfort and safety. If the height of the adjusting seat belt is too near your neck, you will not begetting the most effective protection. The shoulder portion should be ad- justed so that it lies across your chestand midway over your shoulder nearest the door and not your neck. To adjust the height of the seat beltanchor, lower or raise the height ad- juster into an appropriate position. To raise the height adjuster, pull it up. Tolower it, push it down while pressing the height adjuster button. Release the button to lock the anchor into position. If you lean forward in a slow, easy motion, the beltwill extend and let you move around. If there is a sudden stop or impact, how- ever, the belt will lock into position. Itwill also lock if you try to lean forward too quickly. Check to make sure that the belt is properly locked and that thebelt is not twisted.

To Adjust the Position of Either Mirror:
1. Move the selecting switch to the
right or left to activate the adjustable mechanism for the corresponding door mirror.
2. Now, adjust the mirror angle by
depressing the appropriate perim-eter switch as illustrated.
CAUTION:
o Do not operate the switch con- tinuously for an unnecessarylength of time.
o Scraping ice from the mirror face
could cause permanent damage.To remove any ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer.
WARNING:
Be careful when judging the size ordistance of any object seen in the passenger side rearview mirror. It is a convex mirror with a curvedsurface. Any objects seen in this mirror are closer than they appear.

The buckle should be firmly pressedinto the stalk until locked which will beindicated by an audible "click". The length of the seat belt webbing will be automatically adjusted by the seatbelt mechanism to allow the wearer maximum freedom of movement whilst the belt is being worn. However, in theevent of rapid deceleration or impact, the belt mechanism will automatically lock.The mechanism will also lock if the seat belt webbing is withdrawn too quickly when the belt is being fastenedor if attempts are made to withdraw the webbing whilst the vehicle is not on level ground. Should the seat belt lockunder these conditions, it will be pos- sible to release the mechanism by allowing a small amount of webbing tobe retracted and the belt withdrawn again.
