B350B01O-AAT Windshield Washer Operation To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever toward the steer-ing wheel. When the washer lever is operated, the wipers automatically make two passes across the wind-shield. The washer continues to oper- ate until the lever is released. OGK047048
WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH
B340E01A-AAT Headlight Flasher To flash the headlights, pull the switch lever toward you, then release it. The headlights can be flashed even thoughthe headlight switch is in the "OFF" position. B350A01A-AAT The windshield wiper switch has three positions:
(1) Intermittent wiper operation
(2) Low-speed operation
(3) High-speed operation NOTE: To prevent damage to the wiper system, do not attempt to wipe away heavy accumulations of snow or ice. Accumulated snow and iceshould be removed manually. If there is only a light layer of snowor ice, operate the heater in thedefrost mode to melt the snow or ice before using the wiper.

B510D01HP-GAT Outside Rearview Mirror Heater (If Installed)
The outside rearview mirror heater is actuated in connection with the rearwindow defroster. To heat the outside rearview mirror glass, push in the switch for the rear window defroster. Therearview mirror glass will be heated for defrosting or defogging and will give you improved rear vision in inclementweather conditions.

B510C01A-AAT Folding the Outside Rearview Mirrors To fold the outside rearview mirrors, push them towards the rear.The outside rearview mirrors can be folded rearward for parking in narrow areas. WARNING:
Do not adjust or fold the outsiderearview mirrors while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of control,and an accident which could cause death, serious injury or property damage. HGK2055
Push the switch again to turn the heateroff. The outside rearview mirror heaterautomatically turns itself off after 20 minutes.

The climate control air filter is located in front of the blower unit behind the glove box.It operates to decrease the amount of pollutants entering the car. To replace the climate control air filter,refer to the page 6-19. CAUTION:
o Replace the filter every 15,000 km (10,000 miles) or once a year. If the car is being driven in severe conditions such as dusty, roughroads, more frequent climate con- trol air filter inspections and changes are required.
o When the air flow rate is decreased, it must be checked at authorizeddealer.

B980G01NF-GAT Auto de-humidified control (If Installed) There is a humidity sensor in the middle of the crash pad. If it becomes veryhumid inside the car, the air condition- ing is turned on automatically to control the humidity.

B130A01GK-DAT Rear Seat Entry (Walk in device) The driver and front passenger's seatback should be tilted to enter therear seat. By pulling up the walk in device lever (1) at the right-upper side of the driver sideseatback, the seatback will tilt forward. And then pull the lock release lever (2) up with moving the seat forward. OGK036007RB100A01GK-EAT Seat Warmer (Not all models) The seat warmer is provided to warm the front seats during cold weather. With the ignition key in the "ON" posi-tion, push either of the switches to warm the driver's seat or the passenger's seat.During mild weather or under condi- tions where the operation of the seat warmer is not needed, keep theswitches in the "OFF" position. o The seat warmer will not operate if
ambient temperature is warm enough.
o If the seat warmer doesn't work when ambient temperature islower than 24.5°C (76.1°F), it mustbe checked by a Hyundai authorised repairer.

WARNING:
The seat heater should not be oper-ated if you have occupants of the front seats who are children, elderly persons, people under medication or under the influence of alcohol.

To adjust the position of either mirror:
1. Move the selecting switch to the
right or left to activate the adjustable mechanism for the corresponding door mirror.
2. Adjust mirror angle by depressing
the appropriate perimeter switch asillustrated.
CAUTION:
o Do not operate the switch con- tinuously for an unnecessarylength of time.
o Scraping ice from the mirror face
could cause permanent damage.To remove any ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer.
WARNING:
Be careful when judging the size ordistance of any object seen in the passenger side rearview mirror. It is a convex mirror with a curved sur-face. Any objects seen in this mirror are closer than they appear.

YB270B2-E Electric Type The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted in any direction to give the maximum rearview vision.The remote control outside rearview mirror switch controls the adjustments for both right and left door mirror. The tab located at the bottom of themirror should be set to the position nearest the windscreen for normal day time driving, and flipped towards therear of the vehicle to eliminate glare during night time driving. To adjust the field of vision, the mirror may be movedby hand upon the mounting. NOTE: The mirror should always be ad- justed prior to setting the vehicle in motion.
