The system will be disarmed when the driver's or passenger's door is unlocked by depressing the button on the trans- mitter after the system was armed. After completion of the step above, the turn signal lights will blink twice toindicate that the system is disarmed. If any door, trunk lid(4 Door)/tail gate(3 Door) or engine hood is not opened within 30 seconds, the system will be rearmed. B070D02AMC
NOTE: When the system is disarmed with the interior light switched to "DOOR", the interior light will illuminate for 30seconds.
B070F02A-GAT Keyless Entry System (If Installed) Locking doors
1. Close all doors.
2. Push the button on the transmitter.
3. At the same time all doors lock, the
turn signal lights will blink once toindicate that the system is armed.
Unlocking doors 1. Push the button on the transmitter once more after all doors were locked.
2. At the same time all doors unlock,
the turn signal lights will blink twice to indicate that the system is dis- armed.
CAUTION:
Only the transmitter can disarm the armed stage. If the transmitter does not disarm the system, it is neces- sary to take the following steps;
1. Unlock the door with the key, which will cause the alarm to be acti- vated.
2. Insert the key in the ignition key
cylinder and turn the ignition keyto "ON" position.
3. Wait for 30 seconds. After completing the steps above, the system will be disarmed.

For dehumidified heating:
o Turn on the fan control switch.
o Turn on the air conditioning switch.The air conditioning indicator light should come on at the same time.
o Set the air intake control switch to the fresh air (
) position.
o Set the air flow control to the face

o Adjust the fan control to the desired speed.
o For more rapid action, set the fan at one of the higher speeds.
o Adjust the temperature control to
provide the desired amount of warmth.

To use the air conditioning to cool the interior:

BEFORE STARTING THE EN- GINE
C020A01O-GAT Before you start the engine, you should always:
1. Look around the vehicle to be sure
there are no flat tires, puddles of oil, water or other indications of pos- sible trouble.
2. After entering the car, check to be sure the parking brake is engaged.
3. Check that all windows, and lights are clean.
4. Check that the interior and exterior
mirrors are clean and in position.
5. Check your seat, seatback and headrest to be sure they are in theirproper positions.
6. Lock all the doors.
7. Fasten your seat belt and be sure
that all other occupants have fas- tened theirs.
8. Turn off all lights and accessories
that are not needed.
9. When you turn the ignition switch to "ON", check that all appropriatewarning lights are operating andthat you have sufficient fuel.
10.Check the operation of warning
lights and all bulbs when key is inthe "ON" position. WARNING: (DIESEL ENGINE)
To ensure that sufficient vacuum exists within the brake system dur-ing cold weather start-up condi- tions, it is necessary to run the engine at idle for several secondsafter starting the engine.
!WARNING:
o In a collision crash, an unbelted person is significantly more likely to die than a person wearing a seatbelt.
o Your vehicle is equipped with tires designed to provide for saferide and handling capability.Do not use a size and type of tire and wheel that is different from the one that is originally installedon your vehicle. It can affect the safety and performance of your vehicle, which could lead to han-dling failure or rollover and seri- ous injury. When replacing the tires, be sureto equip all four tires with the tire and wheel of the same size, type, tread, brand and load-carryingcapacity. If you nevertheless de- cide to equip your vehicle with any tire/wheel combination notrecommended by Hyundai for off- road driving, you should not use these tires for highway driving.

o Brake operation, including parking
brake
o Manual transaxle operation, includ- ing clutch operation
o Automatic transaxle operation, in- cluding "Park" mechanism opera-tion
o Seat control condition and opera- tion
o Seat belt condition and operation
o Sunvisor operation If you notice anything that does not operate correctly or appears to befunctioning incorrectly, inspect it care- fully and seek assistance from your Hyundai dealer if service is needed.

The two map lights are located at each side of the interior light.The lights may be operated by depress- ing the switch to turn on the light and pressing again to turn off the light. 1. Insert the flat hinges into the cut-
outs. Then supporting the sunroof with your hands, slowly lower it.
2. Make sure both of the flat hinges are
securely inserted into their cutouts.
3. Depress the handles of the base plate and insert into the holes. B460E01A-AAT Storing the Sunroof and the Sun- shade There is a storage bag in the trunk. Place the sunroof or sunshade into thestorage bag and store it in the trunk.
CAUTION:
o Be careful not to place heavy ob- jects on the bag, otherwise thesunshade or sunroof may be de- formed or broken.
o When storing the sunroof and sun- shade into the storage bag, put thesunshade on top of the sunroof.

WARNING:
o Never install or remove the sunroof whilst driving.
o Never put your hands between the sunroof and the car's body.
o Do not drive the vehicle without being certain that the sunroof is securely locked in place.
