HEATED REAR WINDOWHAZARD WARNING SYSTEM
SB250A1-E (Not all models) To operate the heated rear window de- press the switch shown. The heated rear window will automatically turn off after 20 minutes or when the ignition isturned off. The system may be turned off manually by depressing the switch again. B370A01A-D
SB240A1-E The hazard warning system should be used whenever it becomes necessary to stop the car in a hazardous location. The hazard warning system is operatedby depressing the switch at which time all turn signal lights will flash simulta- neously and the turn signal warninglights located within the instrument clus- ter will flash simultaneously. The hazard warning system may beturned off by depressing the switch again.

REMOTE FUEL FILLER FLAP RELEASE
!WARNING:
Fuel vapours are dangerous. Before refuelling, turn off the engine and never allow sparks, lit cigarettes or open flames near the filler area. Whenreleasing the filler cap, a small amount of residual pressure may generate a slight hissing sound which
is not indicative of an abnormality. In the event of the fuel filler cap requir- ing replacement, only a GenuineHyundai replacement part should be used to prevent fuel leakage.

The fuel filler flap may be opened from inside the vehicle by pulling up on the fuel filler flap release. NOTE: If the fuel filler flap will not open because ice has formed around it, tap lightly or push on it to break the ice and release it. Do not lever theflap. If necessary, spray around the flap with an approved deicer fluid (do not use radiator anti-freeze) ormove the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt. HLC2016

The boot lid or the hatchback door is opened by pulling the lever to releasethe lock, then raising the lid or the door manually. To close, lower the boot lid or thehatchback door, then press down on it until it locks. To be sure the boot lid or the hatchback door is securely fas-tened, always try to pull it up again.
WARNING:
The boot lid or the hatchback doorshould always be kept completely closed whilst the vehicle is in mo- tion. If it is left open or ajar, exhaustgases may enter the car and serious illness may result.
o The boot lid or the hatchback door is
opened by first turning the key clock- wise to release the lock, then raising the door manually.
o To close, lower the boot lid or the hatchback door , then press down onit until it locks. To be sure the boot lid or the hatchback door is securelyfastened, always try to pull it up again.

WARNING: ENGINE EXHAUST CAN BE DANGEROUS!
Engine exhaust gases are potentially lethal. If at any time engine exhaust gas is detected within the passenger compartment, move the vehicle to an open area and open all windows. o Never inhale exhaust gas. Exhaust gases contain Carbon Monoxide which is colourless and odourless. Carbon Monoxide is poisonous and can cause unconsciousness and death by asphyxiation. o Exhaust System Maintenance. Ensure that the exhaust system is maintained in good condition and is free from excessive corrosion and damage which may result in leakage. If the vehicle is driven over an object which strikes the exhaust system,ensure that the exhaust system is inspected at the first available opportunity to ensure that no leakage exists. o Confined Areas. Do not run the engine in confined spaces, allowing the engine to idle in a garage, even when the doors are openis dangerous practice. Only start the engine immediately prior to moving the vehicle out of the garage. o Prolonged Idling. If it is necessary to allow the vehicle to idle for prolonged periods, ensure that the heating system air intakecontrol is set to the "Fresh" position, the blower is set to high speed operation and that the vehicle is standing in an open area. o Load Carrying. If it is necessary to carry long objects which do not permit the boot lid to be fully closed, the side windows must remain closed and the heating air intake control set to the "Fresh" position with the blower running at the highest speed setting. To ensure correct operation of the heater system, the air intake grilles at the base of the windscreen must not be obstructed by snow leaves etc..

The total gross vehicle weightis the combined weight of the vehicle, driver, all passengers and their luggage, cargo, hitch,trailer nose weight and other op- tional equipment.
o The front or rear axle weight must not exceed the Gross Axle WeightRating (GAWR) shown on the ve- hicle identification plate (seepage 8-2). It is possible that your towing package does not exceed the GVWR but exceeds theGAWR. Improper trailer loading and/or too much luggage in the boot can overload the rear axle.Redistribute the load and check the axle weight again.

o Air conditioning refrigerant
Check the air conditioning lines and connections for leakage and damage.Check air conditioning performance according to the relevant shop manual if necessary.

With the vehicle stopped and engine off, check for excessive freeplay in the steering wheel. Check the linkage for bends or dam- age. Check the dust boots and ball joints for deterioration, cracks, or dam- age. Replace any damaged parts. 6ZF070N1-A
o Power steering pump, belt and hoses
Check the power steering pump and hoses for leakage and damage. Re-place any damaged or leaking parts immediately. Inspect the power steer- ing belt for evidence of cuts, cracks,excessive wear, oiliness and proper tension. Replace or adjust it if neces- sary.

2. Remove the mounting screws as
shown with a phillips screwdriver.

(1) or position light (2), take it out from the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Install the new bulb.
