ENGINE START
Petrol versions
– pull the handbrake
– put the gear lever into neutral
– press the clutch pedal down to the floor
without pressing the accelerator pedal
– turn the ignition key to STARTand let it
go the moment the engine starts.
Multijet versions
– pull the handbrake
– put the gear lever into neutral
– turn the ignition key to ONand wait for glow
plug preheating warning light to turn off
– press the clutch pedal down to the floor
– turn the ignition key to STARTand let it

Versions equipped with key
Switch the engine off by turning the key from
position ONto position ACC, then press the
key and turn it to position LOCK.
Versions equipped with the Easy Go
Switch the engine off by turning the device
from position ONto position ACC, then
press and turn it to the LOCKposition.
In order to ensure the battery life, a buzzer
will, when the driver’s door opens, signal the
starting device’s failure to set to the LOCK
position.
