CAUTION :
Make sure the air filter is
properly seated in the air filter
case.
The engine should never be run
without the air filter installed.
Excessive piston and/or
cylinder wear may result.
Dirty Element Air Cleaner
caused excessive fuel
consumption and loss of
power.
Clean Element Air Cleaner after
every 2000 kms.
The Element Air Cleaner should
be cleaned and lubricated more
frequently (every 1000 km,s), if
Motorcycle is operated in very
dusty (e.g. unpaved, dust laden
roads) conditions. lko/kkuh %

Throttle cable and grip
lubricationFkzkWVy dscy v©j fxzi Y;wczhdsV
djukAThe throttle twist grip assembly
should be greased at the time that
the cable is lubricated, since the
grip must be removed to get at the
end of the throttle cable. After
removing the screws, hold the end
of the cable up in the air and put in
several drops of lubricant. With the
throttle grip disassembled, coat the
metal surface of the grip assembly
with a suitable all purpose grease.ftl le; dscy dks Y;wczhdsaV fd;k tkrk

Be sure to use motor oils that do not contain
antifrication modifiers. Passenger car motor oils
(often labelled Energy conserving) contain anti-
friction additives which will cause clutch/or
starter clutch slippage, resulting in reduced
component life and poor engine performance.
