After you input that information, select the
“OK” switch. The screen then returns to
the “Maintenance“ screen. The icon’s color
will change to light blue after the date or
driving distance is inputted. The icon’s
color will change to orange when your ve-
hicle needs to be serviced. The following
switches appear on the screen.
“Del. All”: Cancel all conditions which
have been inputted.
“Reset all”: Reset all items which satisfy
either condition.
Select the
“Off” switch at the top of the
“Maintenance” screen, and the “Informa-
tion” screen will no longer be displayed.

Manual Supplement”.
Depending on your driving or the
road conditions, the system may
have a time lag between the data
which has been inputted and the ac-

(e) Your compact disc changer
Your compact disc player has a compact
disc changer which stores up to 6 discs.
To insert discs in the changer, see
“—Compact disc player operation”. The
compact disc player will play from track
1 through to the end of the disc. Then
it will play from track 1 of the next disc.
NOTICE
Never try to disassemble or oil any
part of the player unit. Do not insert
anything other than compact discs
into the slot.
The player is intended for use with 12
cm (4.7 in.) discs only.

(a) Listening to the radio
Push “BAND” button to choose either
an AM or FM station.
“AM”, “FM1” or “FM2” appears on the
screen.

Move this select and scroll lever up to
step up the station band or down to
step down.
Your radio automatically changes to ste-
reo reception when a stereo broadcast is
received. “Stereo” appears on the screen.
If the signal becomes weak, the radio
reduces the amount of channel separation
to prevent the weak signal from creating
noise. If the signal becomes extremely
weak, the radio switches from stereo to
mono reception. In this case, “Stereo”
disappears from the screen.

(f) Other compact disc changer func-
tions
Repeating a track: Select it for automat-
ic repeat of the track you are currently
listening to.
Push the “Repeat” button for less than 2
seconds while the disc is playing. When
the track is finished, the player will auto-
matically go back to the beginning of the
track and play the track again. To cancel
it, push the button again.Repeating a disc: Select it for automatic
repeat of the disc you are currently lis-
tening to.
Push the “Repeat” button for more than
2 seconds while the disc is playing.
When the disc is finished, the player will
automatically go back to the beginning of
the disc and play it again. To cancel it,
push the button again.
Random playing for the tracks on a
disc: Select it for automatic random
selection.
Push the “Random” button for less than
2 seconds. The player will play the tracks
on a specified disc in random order.
To cancel it, push the button again.
Random playing for all the tracks in
the magazine: Select it for automatic
track selection for all the discs and play
by the system.
Push the “Random” button for more than
2 seconds. The system selects a track
from the discs in all the magazine which
are set and plays it. To cancel it, push
the button again.(g) If the changer malfunctions
If the changer does not operate, check
that the disc surface is not soiled or
damaged. If the disc is O.K., the follow-
ing causes are possible.
Condensation may have occurred on
the internal mechanism of the chang-
er. Open the cover to let the air circu-
late.
The temperature of the player’s inter-
nal mechanism may be raised be-
cause of high external temperature.
Remove the magazine from the player
to cool it.
If the player still does not operate, have
it checked by your dealer.
