The securing screws of topcase
and retaining plate are of differ-
ent lengths: do not mix them
up.
– The backrest can be adjusted by one position. Carefully fit the topcase
Tighten four securing
screws 8 (long) in the topcase
to the specified tightening
torque
From this point on, installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure
X Tightening torque:

Retaining plate ................ 9 Nm

speeds while running in will
contribute to premature engine
wear.

cle, vary the throttle opening
and engine-speed range fre-
quently.
Try to do most of your riding
during this initial period on
twisting, fairly hilly roads rather
than high-speed main roads
and highways.

and no full-load acceleration
Do not omit the first inspection after 1,000 km (600 miles).
