Front brake lever free play adjustment
NOTE:
Before adjusting the brake lever free play,
inspect the front brake shoes.
The front brake lever free play should be adjust-
ed to 5–8 mm at the brake lever pivot. If the free
play is incorrect, adjust it as follows.
1. Remove the front cover by removing the
screws and bolts. (See page 8-39 for
removal and installation procedures.)
2. Remove the V-belt air filter element cover.
(See page 8-39 for removal and installation
procedures.)
3. Remove the front fender by removing the
screws and bolts.
